Scheduling is an important area of production planning and control. Scheduling is required to produce an existing job by allocating existing resources in the proper execution order. Production schedules arranged effectively and efficiently to maximize resources utility, minimize waiting and idle time and increase productivity. The flowshop batch scheduling model for one machine that takes inventory and quality cost into account has been developed by Indrapriyatna et al (2007a). However, the model yet effective in converting the results of batch size into integers. This study tried to resolve this problem by using a modification of Branch and Bound Algorithm approach.

PT. X is one of the companies located in Dumai Industrial Region, produces fertilizer. This company has three production plants. The production capacity of the first plant is 450 tons/day, the second plant produces 750 tons/day and the third plant produces 700 tons/day. PT. X is supported by 2 sub companies, they are PT. A and PT. B. PT. A operates 5 bagging lines and PT. B operates 3 bagging lines. The fertilizer bagging process has three steps where each step has its own work station: putting the labeled sack to the hook followed by filling the sack with fertilizer, installing the tie cable, and sewing the fertilizer filled sack. From the initial survey, it was found that the processing time is not optimal to reach production target. PT. A and B have to set 24 working hours per day to run the target resulting on frequent over time, excessive fatigue and the negative impact of physically and mentally for the workers. Author’s hypothesis is the current condition has been one of the reasons for a decline of the production output. Therefore, the purposes of the research are to find the impact of current working hours and shift work pattern on the physical and psychological response of the workers and to calculate the standard time required to complete one cycle of bagging process. This standard time is very crucial to determine production target thus determine the optimal working hours and shift rotation.
Measuring of heart rate are collecting results of a questionnaire of NASA-TLX are the parameters used to evaluate the physical and psychological response of workers. Two workers from different group worker, different shift work, from PT. A and PT. B were selected as samples to evaluate their heart rate pattern. The questioner spread out to all workers. Time standard was determined by observing and taking data of 40 bagging cycles for each shift work.
The results show that shift work affecting the physiological response of workers in PT. B in the category between moderate to extreme especially for working element of arranging fertilizer sack to the pallet. This result was found for the two group workers. Frequent short rests between times are required to provide quick recovery for the workers and reduce excessive fatigue. Average standard time complete one bagging cycle was 0.12 minutes and 0.13 minutes for PT. A and PT. B, respectively. These standard times can be used to set the production output target for the two companies. Last, short rotation shift work with an additional number of workers is recommended for the shift pattern.

Rapid technological developments helped bring an increase in the level of business competition. Competitive business strategies required to address the challenges of business competition. PT P&P Lembah Karet is a company engaged in the plantation and crumb rubber processing industry. Marketing area is scattered inside and outside the country led to the supply chain performance become one of the important issues in the company. The use of Lean and Green concept in the supply chain system can become a competitive advantage for PT. P&P Lembah Karet to create a more effective and efficient supply chain strategy in terms of expenditure and environmental impact. Performance measurement is required to determine the effectiveness and efficiency of these two concepts implementation in the supply chain companies.
Performance measurement system was developed based on four perspectives of the Balanced Scorecard (BSC): financial, customer, internal business processes, learning and growth. Key Performance Indicator (KPI) which is used as a measurement basis is formulated through the concept of lean and green. The weight value of each KPI is determined using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) with relevant experts as respondents. Respondents selected based on the experience and knowledge, especially experience and knowledge that relevant with the topic of this research. The weight value determined the order of KPI priority. Face validity is used to validate the performance measurement model.
Data processing and analysis yielded 25 lean and green-based KPIs that are relevant to crumb rubber supply chain at PT. P&P Lembah Karet with 3 KPI for financial perspective, 4 KPI for customer perspective, 11 KPI for internal business process perspective and 7 KPI for learning and growth perspective. The structure of designed models showed that customer perspective is the most priority aspects.

PT Semen Padang is one of the cement companies in Indonesia. Cement production influenced by the number of demand, raw materials and the number of the available machine. The number of demand increases with a corporate capacity which keeps the company had to set an optimal production schedule. Scheduling production should be followed by the availability of raw materials (clinker). The number of clinkers required influenced by the number of demands and clinker elapsed to the flushing process. Flushing process happens if the transition products produced from Non-OPC to a product OPC, for one flushing process causes clinker consumption 7% more than the existing capacity decreases. Deficient in a capacity covered by importing clinker which causes high-cost production. So, it necessary to make cement mill schedule by minimizing flushing process, so clinker that will be used become optimized.
Steps that will be done in this study began with the survey system, identify problems, and data collection. Data collected are machine cement mill and kiln capacity, demands, and flushing process. Then designed a formulation model that minimizes clinker factor and the number of clinker imports needed, so that obtained scheduling machine cement mill to produce OPC and Non-OPC.
Results obtained by reducing the number of flushing process because the cement mill designed to produce one type of product per day, so the flushing process could happen if there is transition cement production Non-OPC on the day-i to cement OPC on the day i+1. Cement OPC produced by Indarung II, III, and V. Indarung IV only produced cement Non-OPC, so the flushing process happened in Indarung II, III, and V.

Knowledge management is a process that helps an organization or company in identifying, selecting, preparing, distributing and sending important information and expertise part of an organization or a company to change the behavior or attitude that is not in place. Grinding processes are usually based on the experiences of people who have are experts in their work (tacit knowledge) that will be collected and converted into explicit knowledge so that the information can be maintained and easily accessible.
The design began by analyzing the external cylindrical grinding systems and translate them into Unified Modelling Language (UML) which was followed by the design of database and computer software, and test the software. The application software is web-based and can be accessed by multiple users. The application will help the operator in determining parameters with given option of parameter recommendation. The system gives recommendations based on the tacit knowledge that has been gathered into explicit knowledge. The output of the application is a list of selected parameters and report cases. Report data in the case will be used to set up the machine.

Sumenep’s hand Batik is one of best practice in Madura. Located in Pekandangan BaratVillage, Sumenep Regency. Production activities done manually and many hazards foundthroughout overall processes. The aime of this research is finding prediction model of safetywork behavior as the response by analyzing factors which influence safety work behaviorsignificantly. Observation executed by 80 respondents, the model used multivariate linierregression. The result obtained that knowledge variabel and protective personal equipmentare significant. Meanwhile, perception and communication are not significant. Finally, modelof safety work behavior found two variables such worker’s knowledge and protectivepersonal equipment which determination coeficient of model is 15.9%.

PT Semen Padang has several subsidiaries and affiliates like PT X. PT X will measure employee satisfaction with the company's expectations are always making changes that sustainable about employee satisfaction because companies believe that employee satisfaction level of its high yield levels better productivity, work more accurate, the number of absences are fewer and loyalty higher than employees with low satisfaction levels. Companies with good productivity will experience growth as indicated by the increase in revenue, in line with the increase in the welfare of the employees. The production process is one of the several main activities in industries. The process followed by quality control to achieve expected final products. Products' conformities to design specification can be achieved through direct measurement. However, not all measurements can be done directly while the process is running. Inconformities to product's design specification could result in unfunctional or rejected products. This will render producers into losing their profits. Technology plays a major role in simplifying products' measurement processes. Advancement in technology made it possible to automate measurement processes and will also make it possible to do during the production process in achieving expected quality control as early as possible. The quality control yield measurements in products'lengths, widths and depths/ heights which will control products' dimension and generate quality control chart. The proposed prototype will allow measurements of product dimension and data acquisition directly during the process without disrupting on going processes.

The majority of the population in Indragiri Hilir (Inhil) already rely on palm plantations as the main income. They have already sold in the form of coconut oil and copra round with a relatively low price and is unable to provide a decent life. It is increasing because of the low level of productivity of coconut plantations and commercial systems that are less profitable for farmers. While in other areas of the coconut is a commodity that can be processed into a wide range of high-value products with simple technologies that can be done by small and medium industries. So, we need development strategies IKM-scale oil processing industry which is able to increase the income of coconut farmers in the district of Inhil. Based on the results of research conducted by the method of SWOT analysis produced 23 alternative strategies of the development of the SME scale oil processing industry in Kabupaten Inhil ie three strategies from SO, nine strategies from WO, seven strategies from ST, four strategies from WT. Based on the results of the weighting using Analytical Network Process (ANP) on any alternative strategy, Strategy SO-2 namely "Guaranteeing the purchase of products manufactured by the community or the SME by the government and the government must provide the processing industry continued to improve the quality standards that prompted the market to products produced by the community/SME "is a priority under the development strategy of IKM-scale oil processing industry in the District Inhil.

Electrical energy requirements in Indonesia annually increase in line with economic growth and an increase in population. So, PT PLN (Persero) have to be able to fulfill the public demands for electrical energy. One of the power generation existed is Steam PowerGeneration. The condition of power generation depended on the maintenance, so, well maintenance made power plant operated at ease condition. Production process in SteamPower Generation of Ombilin used a closed cycle or continuous process. If a machine or an equipment damaged, it will stop the whole function. In the production process, the company involved several main engines are boiler, turbine, condenser, and generator. But the damage often occurs in turbine engine which caused the generation power in Steam PowerGeneration of Ombilin can not operate. Therefore, it needs a maintenance action of machinery/equipment to be able to prevent the damage. The right strategy to keep the engine operating is determining the optimal maintenance interval of equipment for minimizing downtime.The stages of this research begin by determining the critical engine with Criticality Analysis method. Then, the determination of the critical components using Pareto diagram. Then, the determination of the probability density function (pdf) and the reliability of critical components. After that, the determination of maintenance intervals of the critical components by using the criterion of minimizing the downtime that will be used to make maintenance scheduling.Based on the processing data has been done, it was found that the critical engine is a turbine engine with a total value is 44 and the critical components of a turbine engine are membrane turbine, bearing and turning gear with the examination time interval for each critical component are 960.48 hours (40 days), 908.57 hours (37 days) and 1150.28 hours (48days). While the preventive replacement intervals for components of turbine membrane is after operating for 3410 hours, the replacement for bearing components can be carried out during overhaul after operating for 8000 hours and the replacement intervals for components of turning gear is after operating for 4500 hours. The reliability values for each critical component before and after preventive maintenance remains the same, but the value of downtime on each component decreases. The total values of availability for each critical component exceeds 95%.

PT X is a company engaged in the production of the module, ship relay station (Electrical House)as well as oil and gas mining equipment. The company uses a project-based production system in the production process of that equipment. Type of project usually performed is the Engineering-Procurement-Construction (EPC) project. EPC is a type of project that involves process engineering, material procurement, and products construction. PT X main product is a module or electrical house (E-House). Activities can be disrupted by a variety of conditions in the project implementation phase, such as weather and other unforeseen events. These conditions can hamper the process and affect the performance on the field.Activity scheduling and load out process which often suffer from delays caused project deadlines are often past the limit is given by the client. As in the case of E-House project examined in this study, its implementation has been delayed and should be accelerated for 8days. Therefore, the crashing project can greatly assist in adjusting the implementation plan with the actual condition. Crashing project analysis conducted based on project network diagram. The critical path is determined using Critical Path Method (CPM). Based on analysis results, project execution time can be shortened up to 8 days earlier. (From the normal time of 94 days to 86 days) at the cost $ 4.203.093,25.

This study develops a model that involves information the preliminary order. At first, the manufacturer provides the preliminary order for the coming week (five days) varies from day to day and is received on Friday. Change in the preliminary order for a given day is announced one day before and this is viewed as it occurs randomly. Moreover, production systems experience performance degradation (deterioration). Status of the production process shifts from in control to out of control that is identified by the last inspection. Inspection is done by sampling. At the time of the status of out of control the probability of producing non-conforming system component that is charged to the restoration cost and warranty costs.This paper is looking for a solution for determining the production batch size and the buffer stock to reduce total cost. The decision variables are production run period (T) and buffer factor (m). Having obtained the variables T and m, then the variable production batch size (QT) and the buffer stock (BT) can be determined sequentially. Heuristic methods used are Silver-Meal (SM) and Least Unit Cost (LUC) to obtain a solution for each model. Numerical examples are given to demonstrate the performance of the models. From the numerical results, it appears that LUC method is better than SM method.

Information distortion caused PT Multi Sarana Indotani got higher demand than the distributor. Demand variability in each echelon of the supply chain (bullwhip effect) may occur due to lack of demand stability that the producer had difficulty in determining the amount of production. One of the collaboration methods that can be applied to overcome the information distortion as causes of the bullwhip effect is vendor managed inventory, where the needs of distributor and retailers monitored and controlled by the producer. In this case, vendor managed inventory applied to two echelons, producer, and distributor.

Engine maintenance strives to always improve its service excellence with tools such as gate system where the system is expected to realize the lead time for 60days. In the implementation of the gate system is still not able to meet the expected target. During maintenance or overhaul the engine is still encountered waste or waste that causes the target cannot be met. Lean Manufacturing is an approach that aims to minimize waste that occurs in the process flow.Understanding the conditions of the process described in Value Stream Mapping for further elaborate activities that have the value-added and non-value added.Through seven waste concept, then be weighted to determine the most dominant type of waste.From the data processing is obtained that through the Value Stream Mapping is known gate 1 and gate 3 is the point that there are many wastes. Weighting and ranking of seven existing waste in the process of the activity obtained results in the form of a waste critical sequence of seven existing waste. Highest weights on the type of waste waiting with a weight of 0.38. Results of Root Cause Analysis in mind that the root cause of waste waiting for that data is maintained, the lack of attention to people development, There are still bugs in the system and miscommunication.

Waste collection is one of the activities that should be performed on the waste management process. This activity can pose a potentially high risk given the dangers that may arise while direct contact with the garbage and activities conducted. This study aims to identify potential risks to the health and safety of workers garbage collector. The survey uses a structured questionnaire distributed to 25 the refuse collector randomly selected in Srengseng SawahJagakarsa, South Jakarta. Descriptive statistics were used to analyze the data collected. The garbage collectors who agreed on the use of personal protective equipment at work is approximately 64% or around 16 respondents. Musculoskeletal disorders suffered by respondents is around 19 people or roughly 76%. The Respondents who suffered puncture wounds as a result of did not use gloves were 23 respondents or approximately 92%. Wrist and lower back are the most common musculoskeletal disorder that affects approximately 23 respondents. Generally, workers require personal protective equipment in order to prevent and reduce accidents. Improvement measures should be always be done such as healthy behavior, use of personal protective equipment and the development of working methods based on ergonomic principles.

The west coast of Sumatera island is one of potential areas of the earthquake and tsunami that requires high vigilance and preparedness seriously. One is the well-prepared-disaster logistics system. World Health Organization (WHO) has been divided into 10 categories of logistics, including the temporary shelter. The purpose of this study is to study attributes that should be required for the mosque as a shelter for victims of the earthquake and tsunami in Padang and provide recommendations to the government of Padang to prepare the mosque as a shelter. Formulation of mosque attributes as a shelter eligibility has been obtained through literature review and interviews. Attributes have been formulated in the form of questionnaires that filled out by prospective refugees of the earthquake and tsunami in Padang . Result of questionnaire has been used to build the House of Quality (HOQ). Furthermore, a SWOT analysis has been conducted to formulate a strategy for local government in an effort to empower mosques as shelters in Padang.
This research has resulted 14 attributes of feasibility mosque as a shelter. Attributes divided into seven categories. Strategies that result based SWOT analysis have nine formulations that consists of two SO strategies, four WO strategies, two ST strategies, and one WT strategies. Implementation of this strategies required responsibility and cooperation between government, community, NGO, and leaders.

The bike is still one of the favorite modes of transportation as it is cheaper and environmentally friendly. However, some problems still arise in current bicycle design, one of which is a discrepancy between dimensions of the bike with anthropometry of the user. This has resulted in unneutral and uncomfortable posture for the users. This study focuses on providing optimum configuration of distance from saddle to pedal, the height of handle-bar, and distance from handlebar to saddle of the bike. Some physiological parameters such as the percentage of CVL (cardiovascular limit), energy consumption and Posture Evaluation index are measured to determine the optimum distance of handle-bar, distance from handlebar to saddle, and distance from saddle to pedal. Results show that it is necessary to modify the current dimension of the bike to accommodate three posture categories of Indonesia population: small posture (P5), medium (P50) and large posture (P95).

Each company will seek to improve performance in order to obtain the optimal results and customer satisfaction. One of the factors that affect the performance of the company is the supplier or vendor, which acts as a supplier of the operational needs of the company consisting of raw materials and spare parts manufacturing equipment. The existence of suppliers is crucial for the production process and the product to be produced. Therefore, it is necessary to a proper selection of suppliers so as to eliminate all risks that would result in losses for the company. PT. Semen Padang is one of the companies involved in the cement industry is one of the members of PT. Cement Indonesia as the Holding Company. Until now both PT. Semen Padang and PT. Cement Indonesia does not have yet a standard method in the selection of suppliers for the procurement process of goods and services. This study aims to design the proposed indicator in the evaluation of suppliers to determine the bidder's list on a tender for the procurement of services in PT. Semen Padang. Based on the literature study, it obtained six criteria i.e: quality, delivery, performance history, price, technical capability, and procedural compliance, which are divided into 13 indicators of performance evaluation. These indicators will be validated by the cement industry. Future studies will design a model of evaluation of suppliers using Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to determine the bidder's list on a tender for the procurement of services in PT. Semen Padang.

The cement industry is an industry that is desperately needed by the public. Cement always used to make houses, buildings, bridges and other buildings. Heightened demand for cement, making PT Semen Padang, which is one of the largest producers of cement in Indonesia, wants to increase the productivity of cement annually. One way is to set up a new cement plant that is able to meet consumer demand. The establishment of a new plant would require careful planning, especially planning development and planning costs. To set up a new plant, also required the planning of goods and services to be used in its manufacture. Therefore, it is necessary a good supplier that is able to provide the needs according to required specifications. The Indarung Project VI, PT Semen Padang requires the right supplier selection method, so as to provide quality goods and services. The method of procurement of goods and services performed Indarung Project VI, PT Semen Padang today is the commonly used method of procurement. AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) is a systematic method and does not require a long time, and can show priority weights of criteria and selected suppliers. This study using AHP to select suppliers of goods and services in the Indarung Project VI, PT Semen Padang. Based on supplier selection has been made, PT ABB Industrial Way elected as a supplier to supply substations for the Indarung Project VI, PT Semen Padang.

The eyes are part of the body that must be protected workers safety and health. Sufficient light is one of the most important aspects that determine the health of the eye, excellent lighting intensity affects the eyes. This study was performed at PT Pertamina RU VI Balongan, based on observation in the work area, it is necessary to evaluate the intensity of light and eye strain workers in a unit of PT. Pertamina Refinery Unit VI Balongan.Be collected from primary and secondary data and processing in the form of statistical testing using Microsoft Excel and SPSS Software 2.0. Tests conducted on four types of questionnaires and data variables intensity lighting in the office area of HSE unit RU VI Balongan.There are 12 rooms which have the following illumination standard (under 300 lux). Based on a statistical test between the variable quality of the lighting of the eye complaints get results there are two variables that have a relationship. In addition, all respondents had complaints of eye fatigue that varies with the highest percentage of 80% with complaints of eye feel sleepy and 63% of workers feel pain in the neck or shoulder.

Nowadays, the development of industry is increasing very rapidly. It can be known as the high competition between companies. Not only large and international scaled companies, small and medium-sized companies are also facing the same challenges in the global competition. Therefore, the companies need to conduct a quality control to maintain the quality of products produced and to achieve the conformance to specifications of product that has standardized by the company policies in order to improve the customer satisfaction. PT Amanah Insanillahia is a company involved in the bottled water industry. Based on the preliminary study, it shown the quality control only conducted to check the number of defective products produced without further evaluation and analysis. Therefore, there is a need to analyze the data of defective products produced and evaluate the results. The purpose of this study is to analyze the nonconformity product of the bottled water 600 ml brand PRIM-A. The p-chart is used in this research to analyze the number of defective products. Then, the fishbone diagram is used to analyze the causes of defective products. The results show that there is no data out of the control limits and mostly the data near in the central line of the p-chart. Using the fishbone diagram, it concluded that factors of man, machines, materials, methods, and environment are the causes of nonconformity products of the bottled water 600 ml brand PRIM-A. It is hoped this study will beneficial for the company to improve the product quality as well as to increase the customer satisfaction.

Nowadays, automation system become an important aspect of the manufacturing process because could make integration manufacturing process on it more effective and more efficient. PLC or Programmable Logic Controller is one kind of automation system. Many industries use PLC as automation control device in the manufacturing process to control all kind of process. For example at transportation process of coals in generator industry. Coals could be burned because main elements of coals are carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen. Base on this prototype early warning system design, we get the result if sensor thermocouple detects temperature larger than setpoint temperature (it is 2000C), then PLC will give an order to shut down the output, that is a belt conveyor. The result of this prototype design could use at coals transportation as an early warning system. The design of prototype early warning system could detect and prevent fire because of the consequence of burned coals until spreading of fire could be avoided.

So it can be determined what is needed in order to improve the performance of the company and also can increase profits. Measuring the productivity can be seen from the financial data that obtained from the company. Then based on data processing, show this company's productivity levels decreased during the period of measurement and it means company requires efforts to increase the efficient use of inputs. It is necessary for company to increase its productivity for the future. This improvement was made by taking into account the partial productivity as inputs that affect the profitability of the company on an ongoing basis.

The implementation of decision support system will be applied to support the regional investment of West Sumatera by providing a feasibility study analysis; exclusively the aspects of economic and financial criteria. This research was carried out in West Sumatera Regional Investment Coordinating Board as the authorities of regional investment licensing and controlling. The first step in designing a decision support system is conducting Pre – Study. It consists of literature study and pre–design study related to the field of study. Next step is using Unified Modeling Language (UML) method to provide, represent and visualize the system. The basic model of the financial feasibility study is implemented by using the predetermined assumption as the scope of the best system performance. The system design which is implemented uses the Web and GIS concept. Otherwise, the expected result from the research is the application is able to calculate the basic data from financial feasibility aspect into needed information in order to analyze the feasibility of any investments. The result should be converted into Net Present Value, Benefit Cost Ratio, Internal Rate of Returns, and Payback Period value. The last step of the research is verification and validation in order to make sure the ability of application accommodating the pre -design system requirements. The result of verification and validation is able to accommodate the pre -design
system requirements conclusively.

Cement is a construction material with a specific quality that must be meet standard requirements and customer requirements. Through a good and continuous quality control, it will produce cement with consistent quality as its Quality Planning. Cement quality is calculated after adding water by measuring its setting time, compressive strength developing, the heat of hydration, expansion/shrinkage, and its durability to environment effect. In cement application, the primary parameter to determine cement quality is its compressive strength. Some factors that affect compressive strength of cement are reactivity and amount of Tricalcium Silicate (C3S) of Clinker, Clinker free lime (free CaO), amount of SO3 in Cement, the amount of additional materials (insoluble residue/IR and loss on ignition/LOI), and sieve on 45 µm residue of cement. This research is intended to find how insoluble residue/IR, loss on ignition/LOI, and the amount of SO3 will affect compressive strength of cement. Various percentages of IR, LOI, and SO3 in cement will result in different compressive strength. Taguchi Method is applied to determine material proportion. With Orthogonal Array calculation for 3 factors and 4 levels, it will result in 16 calculation running times (L16 4**3). In laboratory scale, cement for this research has been being manufactured and then its compressive strength for 3 days, 7 days, and 28 days will be measured. Determination of optimal proportion will be calculated by statistic method for higher compressive strength and lower manufacturing cost.

One of the effort to presence with global competition in the era of the Asean Economic Community (AEC) in 2015, making it the various parties, both government, private, and Small and Medium Industries (SMEs) to compete with products made in ASEAN countries. One of the things that can be done is to make the efficiency of the production costs. For that, we need a production planning and control are very closely related to the raw material. The presence of raw materials becomes important because if there is a shortage of raw materials, will inhibit the production process. If the stock overload can make an effect on the cost savings that can increase the cost of the company. IKM DM is one of the industry that concerned to the manufacture of clothing garment, especially to the shorts. The Problems that are often faced by SMEs is the frequent occurrence both in the warehouse overstock raw materials and finished goods warehouse. It is necessary for research in determining the amount of raw materials in the warehouse, so that capital is not held long. This study only focus to three kinds of pants that has all size model, big size type, and type pants buckle. The purpose of this study is predicting the number of requests using the ARIMA period of 3 months in April, May, and June 2014; planned economic order quantity and raw material ordering schedule using the EOQ method. The study also discusses the raw materials inventory system either periodically or in a perpetual; and ends with the calculation of the limitations of the warehouse. Forecasting pants all size in April, May and June respectively 30 840, 31 962, and 32 357 pieces; the big size pants are 8.645,8.782, and 8782; and the buckle pants are 4,960, 4,980, and 4,980 pieces. As for the number of ordering raw materials at economical polly cloth pants all size, buckle, and the big size of 45 562-yard; 17 684; and 25 534 yards. As for the scheduling of raw materials in the all size type, big size type, and the buckles have ROP values of 4.470,1.382, and 660 yards. The frequency ordering as many as 6 times, 3 times, and 2 times with intervals of 30 days, 64 days, and 80 days. From the calculation of the inventory system, obtained perpetual method has the smallest cost. For the calculation of the limitations vast storehouse of raw materials needed 4 shelves for storage of accessories with a total area of 107m2, with a total of 144m2 warehouse area.

Abstract
Upaya menghadapi persaingan global di era Asean Economic Community (AEC) di tahun 2015, membuat berbagai pihak baik itu pemerintah, swasta, maupun Industri Kecil Menengah (IKM) untuk bersaing dengan produk buatan negara ASEAN. Salah satu hal yang dapat dilakukan adalah melakukan efisiensi dari sisi biaya produksi. Untuk itu, diperlukan suatu perencanaan dan pengendalian produksi yang sangat berkaitan erat dengan bahan baku. Keberadaan bahan baku menjadi hal yang penting dikarenakan jika terjadi kekurangan bahan baku, akan menghambat proses produksi. Jika berlebih maka berpengaruh pada biaya simpan yang meningkatkan biaya perusahaan. IKM DM merupakan salah satu industri yang bergerak di bidang garmen khususnya dalam pembuatan pakaian kantor. Masalah yang kerap dihadapi oleh IKM adalah sering terjadinya overstock baik itu di gudang bahan baku, maupun gudang barang jadi. Untuk itu perlu dilakukan penelitian dalam menentukan jumlah bahan baku yang ada di gudang, agar modal tidak tertahan lama. Penelitian ini hanya meneliti celana kantoran tipe all size, big size, dan celana kantor tipe gesper. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meramalkan jumlah permintaan menggunakan metode ARIMA periode 3 bulan mendatang pada bulan April, Mei, dan Juni; merencanakan jumlah pemesanan ekonomis dan menjadwalkan pemesanan bahan baku menggunakan metode EOQ. Penelitian juga membahas tentang sistem persediaan bahan baku baik secara periodik maupun secara perpetual; dan diakhiri dengan perhitungan keterbatasan gudang. Peramalan celana all size pada bulan April, Mei dan Juni berturut-turut adalah 30.840, 31.962, dan 32.357 potong; pada celana big size adalah 8.645,8.782, dan 8.782; dan pada celana gesper adalah 4.960, 4.980, dan 4.980 potong. Adapun jumlah pemesanan bahan baku ekonomis pada kain polly celana all size, gesper, dan big size sebesar 45.562 yard; 17.684; dan 25.534 yard. Adapun penjadwalan bahan baku pada celana kantor all size,big size,dan gesper memiliki nilai ROP sebesar 4.470,1.382, dan 660 yard. Frekuensi pemesanan sebanyak 6 kali,3 kali, dan 2 kali dengan interval waktu 30hari, 64 hari, dan 80 hari. Dari hasil perhitungan sistem persediaan, didapat metode perpetual memiliki biaya yang terkecil. Untuk perhitungan keterbatasan luas gudang bahan baku dibutuhkan 4 rak untuk penyimpanan aksesoris dengan total luas 107m2, dengan luas gudang total sebesar 144m2.

The advantages of QFD is to translate customer need into a technical response. But QFD has some disadvantages related to the difficulties in distinguishing the difference of needs between consumers, difficulties to fulfill the needs of different consumer groups, and the exietence of conceptual gap between consumers and companies. The proposed method to overcome these disadvantages is conjoint analysis. The main advantage of conjoint analysis is the ability to get the optimal design combination for products or services based on consumers' preference.
The result of conjoint analysis, estimation of perceived value, and integration of QFD can be used to know the preference market needs among consumers, identify the office desk, determine consumer segments and technical respons, and estimate the additional price of office desk attributes as an effort to the development of the office desk.
In overall the best Office desk combination results based on consumers' preference of Office desk is the white color without additional drawers or supporting features, with table size is 120x60x75 cm and footstool. Segmentation based on preferences resulting in three clusters, namely size, color, and availability of drawer. The highest technical response to be the company's priority in meeting the needs of consumers is to make the proper hole connection.
Based on the perceived value, the company is capable to predict that the additional prices of 1 drawer is Rp.1-Rp.500.000, the addition price of 2 drawers is Rp.800,000 - Rp.900.000, and the addition price of the foundation of the foot is Rp.50.000 - Rp.150.000, and the additional price of supporting features is Rp.150.000-Rp.250.000.

Abstrak
Keunggulan QFD adalah menterjemahkan customer need menjadi respon teknis. Namun QFD mempunyai kekurangan terkait sulit membedakan antara beragam kebutuhan konsumen yang bertentangan, sulit memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen yang berbeda kelompok, dan kesenjangan konseptual antara konsumen dan perusahaan. Untuk melengkapi kekurangan QFD, diusulkan metode conjoint analysis. Keunggulan utama conjoint analysis mampu mendapatkan kombinasi desain yang optimal untuk produk yang melekat pada preferensi konsumen.
Hasil integrasi QFD dan conjoint analysis serta estimasi perceived value dapat mengetahui preferensi konsumen meja kantor, mengidentifikasi segmen konsumen meja kantor, menentukan respon teknis, dan mengestimasi harga penambahan atribut meja kantor sebagai upaya pengembangan meja kantor.
Secara keseluruhan hasil kombinasi meja kantor terbaik berdasarkan preferensi konsumen meja kantor adalah warna putih, tidak membutuhkan penambahan fitur laci, tidak membutuhkan penambahan fitur pendukung, ukuran meja 120x60x75 cm, dan terdapat tumpuan kaki. Berdasarkan segmentasi preferensi terbentuk tiga klaster, yaitu klaster warna, klaster ukuran, dan klaster ketersediaan laci. Secara keseluruhan respon teknis yang menjadi prioritas perusahaan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen adalah pembuatan lubang sambungan yang tepat.
Berdasarkan hasil perceived value, perusahaan dapat memperkirakan harga penambahan 1 laci berkisar Rp.1 - Rp.500.000, penambahan 2 laci adalah Rp. 800.000 – Rp. 900.000, penambahan tumpuan kaki Rp. 50.000 – Rp. 150.000, dan penambahan fitur pendukung Rp. 150.000-Rp. 250.000.

The economy was one factor the progress of a country. Each country competing to increase the productivity of the economy. Indonesia's economy ranks 17 world. Economic growth in Indonesia is very significant that was not separated from the role of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) that support the growth of exports and imports, one that can be seeded SMEs are SMEs manufacture of shoes. The role of SMEs that are so large and significant must always be maintained and developed to be able to compete in an era of global competition such as the implementation of the Asean Economic Community (AEC) in January 2015. Problems that interfere with the development and productivity of SMEs shoes, particularly around Medan city will be divided into 4 categories, namely: (1) human, (2) process, (3) facilities, and (4) Business competition. Based on this research, it is known that the most important issues that affect the development of SMEs in Medan shoe is its human resources. Solving these problems will be done with the Kaizen strategy (5S) which will be combined with the concept of training within industry (TWI) and the concept of P-Course. These improvements will result in strategies to increase the overall productivity of SMEs working with the primary focus is working and will evaluate the system works. This strategy is expected to fix the weaknesses of existing SMEs shoes, in order to face the global competition that will come.

Abstrak
Perekonomian adalah salah satu faktor kemajuan suatu negara. Setiap negara bersaing ketat untuk meningkatkan produktvitas perekonomiannya. Perekonomian Indonesia saat ini menempati urutan ke 17 dunia. Pertumbuhan ekonomi di Indonesia yang sangat signifikan ternyata tidak lepas dari peran dari usaha kecil dan menengah (UKM) yang menopang pertumbuhan ekspor dan impor, salah satu UKM yang bisa diunggulkan adalah UKM pembuatan sepatu. Peran UKM yang begitu besar dan signifikan harus terus dijaga dan dikembangkan untuk bisa bersaing pada era persaingan global seperti penerapan Masyarakat Ekonomi Asean (MEA) pada januari 2015. Permasalahan yang mengganggu perkembangan dan produktivitas dari UKM sepatu, khususnya di sekitar Kota Medan akan dibagi kedalam 4 kategori, yaitu:(1) manusia, (2) proses, (3) fasilitas, dan (4) Persaingan usaha. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diketahui bahwa permasalahan yang paling utama yang mempengaruhi perkembangan UKM sepatu di Kota Medan adalah sumber daya manusianya. Pemecahan permasalahan ini akan dilakukan dengan strategi Kaizen (5S) yang akan dipadukan dengan konsep Training within industry (TWI) dan konsep P-Course. Perbaikan ini akan menghasilkan strategi-strategi untuk peningkatan produktivitas kerja UKM secara keseluruhan dengan fokus utama adalah pekerja dan sistem kerjanya. Strategi ini diharapkan mampu membenahi kelemahan UKM sepatu yang ada, guna menghadapi ketatnya persaingan global yang akan datang.

The most popular inventory model to determine production lot size is Economic Production Quantity (EPQ). It shows enterprise how to minimize total production cost by reducing inventory cost. But, three main parameters in EPQ which are demand, machine set up cost, and holding cost, are not suitable to solve issues nowadays. When an enterprise has two types of demand, continue and discrete demand, the basic EPQ would be no longer useful. Demand continues comes from a customer who wants their needs to be fulfilled every time per unit time, while the fulfillment of demand discrete is at a fixed interval of time. A literature review is done by writers to observe other formulation of EPQ model. As there is no other research can be found which adopt this topic, this study tries to develop EPQ model considering two types of demand simultaneously.

Inventory of raw materials is the most important thing to produce the product. Inventory control of the raw materials quantityalso refers to the production process at the factory. PT Semen Padang used raw materials including cement manufacture clay, limestone, silica, gypsum, pozzolan and sand iron or copper slag. Among the raw materials, the most used is pozzolan. This research will be carried out data processing for inventory control using the EOQ (Economic Order Quantity) and POQ (Periodic Order Quantity) to compare with inventory control has been implemented by the company. The data collected for this study include data processing is the use of historical data pozzolan material per period in 2012 and 2013, the cost of raw materials ordering pozzolan, pozzolan storage costs of raw materials and lead time, acceptance of pozzolan from suppliers to storage. Data processing is performed to determine the inventory control of raw materials sand pozzolan in 2014. The results and conclusions obtained are forecasting the use of pozzolan in 2014 is 1.135.355,77 tons it means will be more than in previous years and the inventory control with POQ (Periodic Order Quantity) produces the minimum inventory costs with price Rp 1.775.179.959,61.

Abstrak
Persediaan bahan baku merupakan elemen terpenting dalam produksi yang dilakukan oleh perusahaan untuk menghasilkan produk. Pengendalian persediaan terhadap kuantitas bahan baku yang dilakukan gudang juga merujuk ke proses produksi yang dilakukan oleh pabrik. Pabrik-pabrik di PT Semen Padang tersebut menggunakan bahan baku pembuatan semen diantaranya tanah liat (clay), batu kapur, batu silika, gypsum, pozzolan dan pasir besi atau copper slag. Diantara bahan baku tersebut, pemakaian terbanyak adalah pemakaian pozzolan. Pada penelitian ini akan dilakukan pengolahan data untuk pengendalian persediaan dengan menggunakan metode EOQ (Economic Order Quantity) dan POQ (Periodic Order Quantity) untuk membandingkan dengan pengendalian persediaan yang telah diterapkan oleh perusahaan. Data yang dikumpulkan untuk pengolahan data penelitian ini diantaranya yaitu data historis pemakaian bahan baku pozzolan per periode pada tahun 2012 dan 2013, biaya pemesanan bahan baku pozzolan, biaya penyimpanan bahan baku pozzolan dan waktu tenggang (lead time) penerimaan pozzolan dari pemasok ke gudang. Pengolahan data yang dilakukan adalah untuk menentukan pengendalian persediaan bahan baku pasir pozzolan di tahun 2014. Hasil dan kesimpulan yang diperoleh adalah peramalan pemakaian pozzolan di tahun 2014 akan lebih banyak dibanding tahun-tahun sebelumnya yaitu dengan total pemakaian sebanyak 1.135.355,77 ton dan pengendalian persediaan dengan metode POQ (PeriodicOrderQuantity) menghasilkan biaya persediaan yang lebih minimum yaitu sebesar Rp 1.775.179.959,61.

Technological developments lead to the entire company continues to enhance innovation in creating products derived from it, including the telephone industry.In a few years, the telephone industry introduced a variety of smartphone, including smartphones based on operating system RIM (Research in Motion) which produces branded Blackberry and smartphone based Android operating system with one of the companies that have joined with the operating system is Samsung Android. The research was conducted by measuring the consumer based marketing mix and should be able to explain what factors areas sociated with the sale of the two smartphones. Marketing mixis a set ofmarketing toolsused by companies to continuously achieve their marketing goals. The marketing tools are classified into four groups namely known 4Ps: product, price, place, and promotion. This research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to the respondents as many as 160 pieces and 160 pieces of Blackberry smartphones to the Samsung Android smartphone respondents. Tests performed with Kendall Tau correlation test using SPSS 15 software. The results showed that the variables of product, price and promotion has a significant correlation to the consumer buying decision on Blackberry smartphones. However, variable rates become very dominant variables related to consumer purchasing decisions for Blackberry smartphones. Meanwhile the Kendall Tau correlation test on the Samsung Android smartphones, only products have a price and a significant correlation on consumer purchasing decisions against Samsung's Android smartphones, and variable products become a dominant variables related to consumer purchasing decisions. Thus it can be done by both companies marketing strategies in order to achieve sales targets and products in accordance with marketing objectives.

Perkembangan teknologi menyebabkan seluruh perusahaan terus meningkatkan inovasiinovasi dalam menciptakan produk yang dihasilkannya, termasuk pada industri telepon. Pada beberapa tahun belakangan ini industri telepon memperkenalkan teleponsmartphone yang beragam, diantaranya smartphone yang berbasis sistem operasi RIM (Research in Motion) yang memproduksi telepon bermerek Blackberry dan smartphone yang berbasis sistem operasi Android dengan salah satu perusahaan yang telah bergabung dengan sistem operasi tersebut adalah Samsung Android. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan melakukan pengukuran kepada konsumen berdasarkan bauran pemasaran dan diharapkan mampu menjelaskan faktor-faktor apa saja yang berhubungan dengan penjualan di antara kedua smartphone ini. Bauran pemasaran (marketing mix) adalah seperangkat alat pemasaran yang digunakan perusahaan secara terus menerus untuk mencapai tujuan pemasarannya. Alat pemasaran tersebut di klasifikasikan menjadi empat kelompok yang dikenal 4P yaitu: produk, harga, tempat, dan promosi. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner sebanyak 160 buah kepada responden smartphone Blackberry dan 160 buah kepada responden smartphone Samsung Android. Pengujian dilakukan dengan uji korelasi Kendall Tau menggunakan software SPSS 15. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel produk, harga dan promosi mempunyai korelasi yang signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian konsumen terhadap smartphone Blackberry. Namun variabel harga menjadi variabel yang sangat dominan berhubungan dengan keputusan pembelian konsumen terhadap smartphone Blackberry. Sementara itu pada pengujian uji korelasi Kendall Tau pada smartphone Samsung Android, hanya variabel produk dan harga yang mempunyai korelasi yang signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian konsumen terhadap smartphone Samsung Android, dan variabel produk menjadi variabel yang sangat dominan berhubungan dengan keputusan pembelian konsumen. Dengan demikian dapat dilakukan strategi pemasaran oleh kedua perusahaan agar target penjualan produk tercapai dan sesuai dengan tujuan pemasaran.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang sistem informasi manajemen logistik yang mampu untuk mengatasi permasalahan keterlambatan dalam pengiriman item-item data informasi. Sistem informasi ini dirancang untuk mempermudah manajemen data perusahaan dan menjadikan semua pekerjaan lebih efektif dan efisien. Salah satu kemudahan yang ditawarkan oleh sistem informasi ini ada dalam hal pencarian informasi terkait sebuah item karena semua data item akan disimpan untuk penyertaannya dalam database sehingga pencarian informasi menjadi lebih mudah dan cepat.

Cloud Manufacturing: Tinjauan Literatur dan Pengembangan Layanannya untuk Perencanaan Fasilitas Produksi

Cloud Manufacturing is an advanced manufacturing model which provides services by utilizing a shared resource pool such as computers, servers, networking, Internet and application softwares. The term Cloud Manufacturing in the engineering literature is still fairly new. it comes from the term Cloud Computing which is earlier known as Internet services on demand. Here includes Software as a Service (SaaS) along with infrastructure, platform and other delieveries as a service. First introduced by F. Tao in 2011, Cloud Manufacturing combines the latest technologies such as cloud computing, internet of thing, manufacturing object virtualizations and service-oriented computing services. The advanced manufacturing service models related to this terminology will be described as literatur reviews in this paper. At the end of this paper was given a case study of the application of the Cloud Manufacturing for designing a web-based production facilities layout as a cloud software as a service for the users.

Abstrak
Cloud Manufacturing dapat dikatakan sebagai sebuah model manufaktur yang berorientasikan pada penyediaan jasa dengan memanfaatkan sebuah resource pool yang dipakai secara bersama seperti komputer, server, jejaringan, internet dan perangkat lunak aplikasi. Istilah Cloud Manufacturing berasal dari istilah Cloud Computing yang lebih dahulu terkenal, sebagai suatu layanan perangkat lunak bagi pengguna (Software as a Service/ SaaS) dan perangkat keras yang memungkinkan penyediaan layanan tersebut. Istilah Cloud Manufacturing dalam berbagai literatur keteknikan terbilang masih baru. Pertama dicetuskan oleh F. Tao di tahun 2011, cloud manufacturing mengkombinasikan berbagai teknologi terkini seperti cloud computing, internet of thing, virtualisasi obyek manufaktur dan teknologi komputasi berorientasi pada pelayanan jasa. Perjalanan model manufaktur ini hingga literatur terakhir yang terkait akan dijelaskan pada tulisan ini. Pada bagian akhir dari tulisan ini diberikan sebuah gambaran studi kasus penerapan Cloud Manufacturing pada layanan untuk perencanaan fasilitas produksi berbasis Web, terutama untuk rancangan tataletak produksi, sebagai suatu layanan cloud perangkat lunak bagi pengguna.

This study discusses about key process indicators in grinding with the knowledge management approach. Common/key indicators used in the machine are workpiece, grinding wheel, dressing tool and coolant. The resulting key processeswill benefit firms and their operators especially new ones in managing scienceson grinding process that will allow knowledge transferred to new operators quickly. Process indicators are described with IDEF0 diagrams which will define the inputs, outputs, mechanisms and controls.

Abstrak
Penelitian ini membahas tentang indikator proses utama pada proses grinding/gerinda dengan pendekatan manajemen pengetahuan. Indikator umum yang dipakai yaitu mesin, benda kerja, grinding wheel, dressing tool dan coolant. Hasil ini akan bermanfaat untuk membantu perusahaan dalam mengelola ilmu pengetahuan pada proses grinding sehingga akan memudahkan pewarisan ilmu pengetahuan kepada operator baru dari operator senior. Indikator proses digambarkan dengan IDEF0 yang memperlihatkan masukan, luaran, mekanisme dan kontrol pada proses.

Along with the development of science and technology today is so rapid, required human resource capacity and reliable quality which will support companies in improving the quality of the company. In response to the demanding needs of qualified human resources, Maninjau hydropower which is a branch of PT PLN and under Power Sector Bukittinggi, have tried to prepare the workforce to meet the requirements demanded by the busin ess. Way to do is to assess employee performance. Employee performance appraisal that applied hydropower Maninjau currently not able to see the performance and achievement of each employee. Hydroelectric Maninjau should improve the assessment of employees. The method can be done in assessing employee performance include the Management By Objectives (MBO) and Behaviorally Anchored Rating Scale (BARS). For the fast growing data needs, then designed an application performance appraisal in hydropower Maninjau with BARS and MBO method.Application design is done by surveying systems, system analysis, system design and performance of the MBO method BARS, employee performance appraisal application design, and manufacturing applications, as well as verification and validation. Making an application is done using Microsoft Excel. Once the application is successfully validated, then the application implementation. Implementation is based on the employee's performance on the most recent period, namely 1 last semester (January-June) were conducted in June, 2013.Based on the validation has been done, it can be concluded that the application has to be used by hydropower Maninjau in assessing employee performance. As for the results of the implementation of applications, it can be seen that the performance of the employee on hydropower Maninjau in the last period was on average 80%. The assessment includes an assessment of the achievement of business results and work with behavioral weight ratio, 60% for work objectives (MBO) and 40% for work behavior (BARS).

Abstrak
Bersama dengan perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi yang begitu pesat dewasa ini, kapasitas sumber daya manusia dan kehandalan kualitas sangat dibutuhkan untuk meningkatkan kualitas perusahaan secara keseluruhan. Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan permintaan akan sumber daya manusia yang berkualifikasi, PLTA Maninjau yang merupakan cabang dari PT PLN dan berada dibawah Sektor Pembangkitan Bukittinggi, telah mencoba mempersiapkan tenaga kerja yang mampu memenuhi kebutuhan permintaan bisnis. Salah satu cara untuk melakukan hal ini adalah dengan menilai performansi pekerja. Penilaian performansi pekerja yang dilakukan pada PLTA Maninjau saat ini belum mampu melihat performansi dan pencapaian dari setiap pekerja. PLTA Maninjau harus meningkatkan proses penilaian pegawai-pegawai mereka. Metode yang dapat digunakan untuk menilai performansi pegawai adalah Management By Objective (MBO) dan Behaviorally Anchored Rating Scale (BARS). Untuk menjawab semakin meningkatnya kebutuhan penyediaan data yang cepat, maka dirancang aplikasi penilaian performansi pada PLTA Maninjau menggunakan metode BARS dan MBO. Desain aplikasi dilakukan dengan tahapan survei terhadap sistem, analisis sistem, perancangan sistem penilaian performansi menggunakan metode MBO dan BARS, perancangan aplikasi penilaian performansi pekerja dan pembuatan aplikasi, beserta verifikasi dan validasi. Pembuatan aplikasi dilakukan menggunakan Microsoft Excell. Implementasi dilakukan setelah aplikasi tersebut divalidasi. Implementasi didasarkan pada performansi pekerja pada periode terkini, yaitu semester sebelumnya (Januari-Juni) yang dilakukan pada bulan Juni 2013. Berdasarkan validasi yang dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa aplikasi layak digunakan oleh PLTA Maninjau untuk menilai performansi karyawan. Hasil implementasi aplikasi menunjukkan bahwa performansi pekerja PLTA Maninjau pada periode terakhir berada pada rata-rata 80%. Penilaian meliputi pencapaian sasaran kerja dan perilaku kerja dengan bobot 60% untuk sasaran kerja (MBO) dan 40% untuk perilaku kerja (BARS).

Grate the coconut is one of kitchen activity which faces by housewife in daily life. A coconut grater product which is distibuted in market, one of them is manual crank system. Housewife complain that they feel painfull in their body, especially at hand. Waist and back after using available old tool. This research is purposed to improve the design of coconut grater with crank system by ergonomic function deployment (EFD) approach, also to known mosculuskletal reducing of housewife as user and show differention time of grater after redesign done. Research was conducted in RT. 001 RW.005 Tembilahan, Indragiri Hilir District. Research model used treatment by subject design with total sample is 12 housewife which is calculation by Colton Formula. Improvement new coconut grater design with crank system which EFD got by creat the matrix house of ergonomic (HOE) and determination of anthropometry data. Mosculuskletal complain on housewife is measured by making the Nordic Body Map (NBM) Questionnaire work sheet. Time of grated the coconut got by testing coconut grater by crank system on before and after using. Research finding after redesign of coconut grater of crank system shown that design of coconut grater of crank system with EFD and base on ergonomic acpects (effective, confort, savety, healthy and efficient. Mosculuskletal complaint that happend on housewife decrease about 0,285 or 17,39%. Time of grate is also faster around 5 minutes or has imporove 30,1%.

Abstrak
Pemarutan kelapa adalah salah satu pekerjaan dapur yang dihadapi ibu rumah tangga sehari-hari. Produk alat parut kelapa yang sudah beredar di pasaran salah satunya adalah produk pemarut kelapa dengan cara manual menggunakan sistem engkol. Ibu rumah tangga mempunyai keluhan rasa sakit pada bagian anggota tubuh terutama tangan, pinggang dan punggung setelah menggunakan alat parut kelapa yang sudah ada. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk perbaikan rancangan alat parut kelapa sistem engkol yang berbasis Ergonomic Function Deployment (EFD), juga mengetahui penurunan muskuloskeletal ibu rumah tangga sebagai pengguna, serta mengetahui perbedaan waktu pemarutan kelapa setelah dilakukan perancangan ulang. Penelitian dilakukan di RT. 001 RW. 005 Kelurahan Tembilahan Barat Kecamatan Tembilahan Hulu Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir. Model penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan sama subjek (treatment by subjects design) dengan jumlah sampel 12 ibu rumah tangga yang didapat dari perhitungan rumus Colton. Perbaikan rancangan alat parut kelapa sistem engkol yang berbasis Ergonomic Function Deployment (EFD) didapat dengan membuat matriks House of Ergonomic (HOE) dan penentuan data antropometri. Keluhan muskuloskeletal ibu rumah tangga diketahui dengan membuat lembar kerja kuisioner Nordic Body Map (NBM). Waktu pemarutan kelapa didapat dengan menguji alat parut kelapa sistem engkol antara sebelum dan sesudah perancangan. Hasil penelitian setelah dilakukan perancangan ulang alat parut kelapa sistem engkol menunjukkan bahwa rancangan alat parut kelapa sistem engkol yang berbasis Ergonomic Function Deployment (EFD) adalah memiliki aspek-aspek ergonomi yang lengkap yaitu efektif, nyaman, aman, sehat, dan efisien (ENASE). Keluhan muskuloskeletal ibu rumah tangga mengalami penurunan sebesar 0.285 atau 17.39%. Waktu pemarutan kelapa juga lebih cepat 5 menit atau mengalami peningkatan sebesar meningkat 30.10% setelah perancangan ulang alat parut kelapa sistem engkol.

Rendang is a traditional Minangkabau food. Rendang is generally made of meat, coconut milk and seasoning. Generally rendang semi-wet, but now it has been modified into a dry rendang. Dry rendang widely produced at Payakumbuh, West Sumatra Province. This research was conducted in July to August 2013 at Company " Rendang Erika " Payakumbuh. Research purposes is plotting the maximum profit and optimum production quantities with minimal use of resources. Processing data using the program LINDO (Linear Interactive Discrete Optimizer). The results of the study on the optimum conditions obtained maximum profit of Rp 84,049,360,- per month. The use of herbs and spices and coconut milk have been optimum.

2013 di Perusahaan "Rendang Erika" Payakumbuh. Tujuan penelitian untuk merencanakan keuntungan maksimum dan jumlah produksi optimum, dengan mempergunakan sumberdaya seminimal mungkin. Pengolahan data menggunakan program LINDO (Linear Interactive Discrete Optimizer). Hasil penelitian pada kondisi optimum didapatkan keuntungan maksimum Rp 84.049.360,- per bulan. Pemakaian bumbu dan rempah serta santan kelapa sudah optimum.

Evaluasi Efektivitas Mesin Kiln dengan Penerapan Total Productive Maintenance pada Pabrik II/III PT Semen Padang

PT Semen Padang is a company that produces cement and it can not be separated from issues related to the effectiveness of the machinery/ equipment caused by factors such as six big losses. It can be indicated from the frequency of damage caused to machinery/ equipment because of the damage so that production targets are not achieved. Another result of damage caused by machinery/ equipment is the quality of products where the products are not meet the quality standards. Therefore, it is necessary to measure effective and efficient in the maintenance of machinery/equipment int term of solving such problems. TPM is a method which developed in Japan that can be applied to improve the productivity and efficiency of production. The applied method is one of useful methods to mantain machinery/equipment utilization including, losses that called by the six big losses. One goal of TPM is to increase the effectiveness to improve function and performance of machinery/ equipment used and reduce the six big losses contained in the machine/ equipment. Study has been conductedin W1 and W2 Kiln engine on Indarung Factory II / III PT Semen Padang. The first stage is measuring the effectiveness of W1 and W2 Kiln machine using OEE method. Furthermore, we are y measure OEE Six Big Losses and another losses that lead to the low efficiency of the Kiln machine. The data has been collected based on year 2013. Result showed that the value of OEE in W1 kiln ranged from 49% to 96%. While the value of OEE in W2 kiln ranged from 60% to 98% . It is related to the level of availability W1 kiln (average 92%) were also quite low when it is compared to the level of availability W2 kiln (average 94%) due to the length of time the kiln W1 engine damage. Refer to the value of the performance rate W1 and W2 kiln, it can be concluded that the average value of both engine performance rate is almost the same, ranging between 91% and 92%. Analysis of OEE Six Big Lossesshowed that cause of low OEE on kiln machine is breakdown loss. It also affected the reduced speed loss.

Abstrak
PT Semen Padang merupakan sebuah perusahaan yang memproduksi semen juga tidak terlepas dari masalah yang berkaitan dengan efektivitas mesin/peralatan yang diakibatkan oleh faktor six big losses tersebut. Hal ini dapat terlihat dari frekuensi kerusakan yang terjadi pada mesin/peralatan karena kerusakan tersebut sehingga target produksi tidak tercapai. Akibat lain yang ditimbulkan kerusakan mesin/peralatan yaitu dalam hal kualitas produk yang dihasilkan dimana produk yang tidak sesuai dengan standar kualitas akan dioleh kembali. Oleh karena itu diperlukan langkah-langkah efektif dan efisien dalam pemeliharaan mesin/peralatan untuk dapat menanggulangi dan mencegah masalah tersebut. TPM adalah salah satu metode yang dikembangkan di Jepang yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas dan efisiensi produksi perusahaan dengan menggunakan mesin/peralatan secara efektif. Tidak tepatnya penanganan dan pemeliharaan mesin/peralatan tidak hanya menyebabkan masalah kerusakan saja, tetapi juga kerugian lain yang disebut dengan six big losses. Salah satu tujuan TPM adalah untuk meningkatkan efektivitas dengan cara meningktaan fungsi dan kinerja mesin/peralatan yang digunakan dan mengeliminasi six big losses yang terdapat pada mesin/peralatan. Objek yang diteliti pada penelitian ini adalah mesin Kiln W1 dan W2 yang terdapat pada Pabrik Indarung II/III PT Semen Padang. Tahapan pertama dalam usaha peningkatan efisiensi produksi pada perusahaan ini adalah dengan melakukan pengukuran efektivitas mesin Kiln W1 dan W2 dengan menggunakan metode OEE yang kemudian dilanjutkan dengan pengukuran OEE Six Big Losses dan dari faktor six big losses tersebut dicari faktor terbesar yang mengakibatkan rendahnya efisiensi mesin Kiln. Data yang digunakan adalah data satu tahun terakhir yaitu Bulan JanuariDesember 2013. Selama periode tersebut, diperoleh nilai OEE pada kiln W1 berkisar antara 49% hingga 96%. Sedangkan nilai OEE mesin kiln W2 berkisar antara 60% hingga 98%. Hal ini berhubungan dengan tingkat availability mesin kiln W1 (rata-rata 92%) yang juga cukup rendah bila dibandingkan dengan tingkat availability mesin kiln W2 (rata-rata 94%) dikarenakan lamanya waktu kerusakan mesin kiln W1. Bila dilihat dari nilai performance efficiency mesin kiln W1 dan W2, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa nilai rata-rata performance efficiency kedua mesin ini hampir sama, yaitu berkisar antara 91% dan 92%. Bila dilakukan analisa OEE Six Big Losses, maka yang menjadi penyebab rendahnya OEE pada mesin kiln ini adalah waktu kerusakan mesin yang tergolong dalam frekuensi sering. Hal ini juga berimbas pada penurunan kecepatan kerja mesin kiln.

Quality is an important aspect in enhancing the competitiveness of the product. Quality's role is to give satisfaction to the customer and be able to compete with similar products. During of the production process there is a chance that the products are not produced in established standards. Products that not suitable with the specifications is a defect that would cause harm to the company. Trim Rear Quarter Right is a component of the APV Arena car which is each production of Trim Rear Quarter Right there are at least one or more defective products. This of course would lead to losses for the company. The method used in this case study is the six sigma method because this method has been proven effective. Defect in Trim Rear Quarter Right caused by five factors that is negligence of the operator in set up the machine, the age of the machine , the quality of the materials, the application of the method is not maximized and noisy environments. The set up process of injection molding machine is the most influential in causing the defect product with RPN (Risk Priority Number) value is 256.

Abstrak
Kualitas merupakan aspek penting dalam meningkatkan daya saing produk. Perannya adalah memberikan kepuasan kepada pelanggan dan mampu bersaing dengan produk sejenis.Trim Rear Quarter Right merupakan komponen dari mobil APV Arena yangsetiap produksi Trim Rear Quarter Right ini setidaknya terdapat satu atau lebih produk cacat. Hal ini tentunya akan menyebabkan kerugian bagi perusahaan. Metode yang digunakan dalam studi kasus ini yaitu metode six sigma karena metode ini sudah terbukti efektif. acat pada produk Trim Rear Quarter Right disebabkan oleh lima faktor yaitu: kelalaian operator dalam set up mesin , umur mesin, kualitas material, penerapan metode yang belum maksimal dan lingkungan yang berisik. Proses set up molding injection machine adalah proses paling berpengaruh dalam menyebabkan defect produk dengan nilai RPN (Risk Priority Number) sebesar 256.

PT . Mitra Kerinci is agro-industry that have tea plantation and some factory facilities consist of tea processes, green tea processes and black tea processes. PT Mitra Kerinci become the largest green tea producer in Southeast Asia. The Company continually make improvements in every line of the company to produce high quality products. Workers are an important element of the company as well as a critical corporate asset. The company always keeping workers comfortable and maximal doing his job, for the activities associated with the production of green tea such as picking tea and green tea production process and should be evaluated and developed to be improved towards better way. This study aimed to measure the workload physiological and psychological workload on the operator plucking tea and green tea production operators and provide recommendations based on the results obtained to improve the work system at the plucking tea and green tea production PT Mitra Kerinci. Measurement of physiological workload done by calculating calorie requirements, CVL
percentage and consumption of each carrier by measuring the pulse and temperature measurement operator workload while the psychological conducted using the NASA-TLX.

Abstrak
PT Mitra Kerinci adalah perusahaan agroindustri yang mengelola perkebunan teh dan dua pabrik teh, yaitu pabrik teh hijau dan pabrik teh hitam. PT Mitra Kerinci menjadi perusahaan penghasil teh hijau terbesar di Asia Tenggara. Perusahaan senantiasa melakukan perbaikan disetiap lini perusahaan untuk menghasilkan produk yang berkualitas tinggi. Pekerja adalah
elemen penting perusahaan sekaligus menjadi aset penting perusahaan. Perusahaan selalu menjaga kenyamanan pekerja sehingga maksimal melakukan tugasnya. Kegiatan yang berhubungan dengan produksi teh hijau seperti pemetikan teh dan proses produksi teh hijau harus dievaluasi dan dikembangkan kearah yang lebih baik. Setiap pekerjaan yang ada di PT Mitra Kerinci memiliki tingkat beban kerja yang berbeda-beda baik beban kerja fisik maupun mental. Banyak ditemui beban kerja yang tidak sesuai dengan kapasitas pekerja, hal ini disebabkan tingginya permintaan teh pada perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur beban kerja fisiologis dan beban kerja psikologis pada operator pemetikan teh dan operator produksi teh hijau serta memberikan rekomendasi berdasarkan hasil yang didapat untuk memperbaiki sistem kerja di bagian pemetikan teh dan produksi teh hijau PT Mitra Kerinci. Pengukuran beban kerja fisiologis dilakukan dengan menghitung kebutuhan kalori, persentase CVL dan konsumsi masing-masing operator dengan melakukan pengukuran denyut nadi dan suhu operator sedangkan pengukuran beban kerja psikologis dilakukan dengan metode NASA-TLX.

Pengendalian Kualitas Kemasan Plastik Pouch Menggunakan Statistical Procces Control (SPC) di PT Incasi Raya Padang

PT Incasi Raya is one of the major companies in Indonesia which produce edible oils. One of the stages in the production activities are packaging products. Used packaging made of plastic material, with the capacity and different type. Plastic pouch is one of the few types of packaging used in the packaging of edible oils. Quality packaging affects the distribution of production to the consumer. If the packaging is damaged, then the product can not be distributed to consumers. Therefore, the quality of the packaging must be kept for the successful marketing of the product. One way to implement a quality control methods Statistical Processing Control (SPC). The data used in this study is a secondary data provided by the company. Data collected is the number of production reject every month in packaging activities. The data processing of the data collection that is making control map p. The results of data processing show that many reject the production of packaging that are outside the control limits. Data that are outside the control limits indicates there is a problem in the quality control of the company. Of all types of packaging, only one or two months of production reject packs that are in the control limits. This suggests that the dominant packaging reject each month of production is outside the control limits. Reject the production was analyzed using a causal diagram. Factors influencing the presence reject packaging production is based on the analysis of human, machine, environment, materials, and methods within the company. After analyzing of the causal diagram, the data is revision. Making a map of the proposed p controls the data that has been revised is the end result of the data processing is done. Quality control companies are advised to be on the boundary control such as control map p recommended.

Abstrak
PT Incasi Raya merupakan salah satu perusahaan besar di Indonesia yang memproduksi minyak goreng. Salah satu hal tahapan dalam kegiatan produksinya adalah pengemasan produk. Kemasan yang digunakan terbuat dari bahan plastik, dengan kapasitas dan jenis yang berbeda-beda. Plastik pouch merupakan salah satu dari beberapa jenis kemasan yang digunakan dalam pengemasan minyak goreng. Kualitas kemasan sangat berpengaruh terhadap pendistribusian hasil produksi kepada konsumen. Apabila kemasan mengalami kerusakan, maka produk tersebut tidak dapat didistribusikan kepada konsumen. Oleh karena itu, kualitas dari kemasan harus dijaga untuk keberhasilan pemasaran produk. Salah satu cara pengendalian kualitas menerapkan metode Statistical Processing Control (SPC). Data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah data sekunder yang diberikan oleh perusahaan. Data yang dikumpulkan adalah jumlah reject produksi setiap bulan dalam kegiatan pengemasan. Pengolahan data dilakukan dari pengumpulan data yaitu pembuatan peta kontrol p. Hasil pengolahan data menunjukkan bahwa banyak kemasan reject produksi yang berada diluar batas kontrol. Data yang berada diluar batas kontrol menandakan terdapat masalah pada pengendalian kualitas perusahaan. Dari semua jenis kemasan, hanya satu atau dua bulan saja jumlah kemasan reject produksi yang berada dalam batas kontrol. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa dominan tiap bulannya kemasan reject produksi berada diluar batas kontrol. Terjadinya reject produksi dianalisis menggunakan diagram sebab akibat. Faktorfaktor yang mempengaruhi adanya kemasan reject produksi berdasarkan analisis adalah manusia, mesin, lingkungan, material, dan metode dalam perusahaan. Setelah dilakukan analisis dengan diagram sebab akibat, dilakukan revisi data. Pembuatan peta kontrol p usulan dari data yang telah direvisi merupakan hasil akhir dari pengolahan data yang dilakukan. Pengendalian kualitas perusahaan disarankan berada pada batas kendali seperti peta kontrol p usulan.

PT. Moradon Berlian Sakti is Die Casting manufacturer of Honda motorcycle spare parts and other types of products, such as chair. Along with the rapid advancement of technology, PT. Moradon Berlian Sakti always strive to maintain and improve its existence. One of important factor that need to be noticed is the productivity issue. Productivity assessment can be conducted based on the comparison of company input and output in terms of materials, capital, labor and energy. After learning the level or productivity index, company leader can identify which condition has productivity shrinkage and make decision to increase productivity company based on those condition. Based on the calculations, the levels of productivity index in 2012, was virtually uniform from January to December. But in October the productivity is high and reach the level 94.33%. That is because that performance indicators are in accordance with expectation of company leader. While in December productivity dramatically decreased to 4.67%, it is because less supervision and control from the company.

Abstrak
PT. Moradon Berlian Sakti merupakan salah satu industri manufaktur yang bergerak di bidang Die Casting dalam membuat spare part sepeda motor Honda, dan beberapa jenis produk lainnya, seperti kursi. Seiring dengan perkembangan zaman dan majunya teknologi pada saat ini PT. Moradon Berlian Sakti selalu berusaha untuk mempertahankan dan meningkatkan keeksistensiannya dalam dunia industri. Salah satu faktor penting yang perlu diperhatikannya adalah masalah produktifitas. Penilaian produktifitas dapat dilihat dari perbandingan nilai input dan output perusahaan, baik dari segi material, modal, tenaga kerja dan energy yang digunakan. Setelah mengetahui tingkat atau indeks produktifitas dari perusahaan itu sendiri, maka pimpinan perusahaan akan mencoba mengevaluasi kondisi-kondisi yang dimana disana terjadi penyusutan produktifitas, sehingga hal tersebut akan mampu meningkatkan produktifitas perusahaan di masa yang akan datang. Berdasarkan perhitungan yang telah dilakukan, maka didapatkan bahwa tingkat indeks produktifitas pada tahun 2012, hampir bisa dikatakan merata mulai dari bulan Januari sampai Desember. Tetapi pada bulan Oktober produktifitas yang dihasilkan tinggi yaitu 94,33%. Hal tersebut dikarenakan bahwa indikator-indikator performansi yang ada pada bulan tersebut sesuai dengan apa yang diharapkan pimpinan perusahaan. Sedangkan pada bulan Desember mengalami penurunan drastis yaitu menjadi 4,67%, hal tersebut disebabkan karena tingkat pengawasan dan pengontrolan yang kurang dari pihak perusahaan.

Leadership, motivation, work environment, and discipline is some of important factors where its influence in employees performance need to be studied, in order to improve better performance or provide positive influence on the performance itself. Employees performance in the welding section 1 A, has significant effect in the production process at PT. XYZ Motor, which manufactures parts of the body frame, in order to complete the daily production target, the influence of these factors on the employees performance needs to be determined. This study uses a questionnaire for collecting data from samples of 80 respondents taken from 158 employees in the welding 1 A. Multiple linear regression is used to test hypotheses for each variable. Result showed that the discipline variables has positive influence on employee performance with significance value of 0,04, where the value is less than 0,05. Other factors has value greater than 0,05.

Abstrak
Faktor kepemimpinan, motivasi, lingkungan kerja, dan kedisiplinan menjadi beberapa faktor yang perlu dan penting untuk di ketahui pengaruhnya terhadap kinerja karyawan, guna peningkatan kinerja yang lebih baik atau memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap kinerja itu sendiri. Kinerja karyawan di bagian welding 1 A, memiliki andil cukup besar dalam proses produksi di PT. XYZ Motor, bagian yang memproduksi frame body tersebut harus mampu menyelesaikan target produksi dalam setiap harinya, untuk menentukan pengaruh faktorfaktor tersebut terhadap kinerja karyawan. penelitian ini menggunakan kuisioner untuk melakukan pengumpulan data dari sampel yang diambil sebanyak 80 responden dari 158 karyawan di bagian welding 1 A. Pengolahan dari data yang terkumpul menggunakan regresi linier berganda dengan melakukan pengujian hipotesis terhadap per masing-masing variabel. Berdasarkan pengolahan, didapatkan hasil bahwasannya yang memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan yaitu pada variabel kedisiplinan dengan nilai signifikansinya 0,04, dimana nilai tersebut lebih kecil dari nilai 0,05. Sedangkan faktor lain yang menjadi variabel bernilai lebih besar dari 0,05.

Hydropower is one of the power plants that supplies electrical energy. It has several machines and equipment that have a time limit of use. To anticipate the limitation of the use, maintenance of machinery and equipment are needed in order to return its original state and can perform its function as usual. Therefore some indicators required to determine maintenance work performance level to provide the optimal results. The Traditional measurement methods have some limitations that make it difficult to implement in industrial environments. This requires a performance measurement method that can provide a balanced perspective on the overall system performance. One of them is implementing the Maintenance Scorecard and Objective Matrix (OMAX) method to assess the performance of hydropower maintenance. Objective research in this assessment is to integrate Maintenance Scorecard and Objective Matrix (OMAX) approach in Maninjau Hydropower. Key Performance Indicators (KPI) are defined by 6 perspectives: productivity perspective, cost effectiveness perspective, a safety perspective, an environmental perspective, quality perspective and learning perspective. The priorities are determined by using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). We then measure the performance of maintenance by using Objective Matrix (OMAX) until we get the level of achievement of the performance in the current situation.The results obtained in the process of designing the scorecard maintenance on the Maninjau hydropower that produces overall 20 KPI consists of 9 KPI for productivity perspective, 4 KPI for quality perspective, 2 KPI for safety perspective, 2 KPI for environmental perspective and 3 KPIs for learning perspective. There are 5 KPIs for corporate level, 8 KPIs for strategic level and 7 KPIs functional level. The operation results show the number of KWH that produced, Capacity Factor and Equivalent Outage Force Factor are in the yellow zone. It means the attentions and improvements are needed to improve performance in the next period.

Abstract
Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Air (PLTA) merupakan salah satu jenis pembangkit listrik. Pembangkit tersebut memiliki serangkaian mesin dan peralatan yang memiliki umur pemakaian tertentu. Sebagai langkah antisipasi terhadap habisnya umur pakai tersebut, diperlukan kegiatan perawatan untuk mengembalikan kondisi mesin dan peralatan sehingga bisa menjalankan fungsinya dengan lancar. Beberapa indikator dibutuhkan untuk menentukan tingkat kinerja aktivitas perawatan agar kegiatan perawatan yang dilakukan dapat memberikan hasil yang optimal. Metode pengukuran tradisional memiliki keterbatasan yang menjadikannya sulit diimplementasikan dalam lingkungan industri. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan metode pengukuran performansi yang dapat melakukan penilaian dari berbagai perspektif secara seimbang terhadap kinerja sistem secara keseluruhan. Salah satu caranya adalah dengan menerapkan metode Maintenance Scorecard dan Objective Matrix (OMAX) untuk menilai kinerja perawatan PLTA. Tujuan penelitian dalam penilaian ini adalah untuk mengintegrasikan pendekatan Maintenance Scorecard dan OMAX pada PLTA Maninjau. Key Performance Indicators (KPI) didefinisikan dari 6 perspektif: perspektif produktivitas, perspektif efektifitas biaya, perspektif keselamatan kerja, perspektif lingkungan, perspektif kualitas dan perspektif pembelajaran. Prioritas ditentukan menggunakan Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Kinerja perawatan kemudian diukur menggunakan OMAX sampai diperoleh tingkat kinerja pada kondisi nyata. Hasil yang diperoleh kemudian digunakan untuk merancang maintenance scorecard bagi PLTA Maninjau, menghasilkan 20 KPI yang terdiri atas 9 KPI untuk perspektif produktivitas, 4 KPI untuk perspektif kualitas, 2 KPI untuk perspektif keselamatan kerja, 2 KPI untuk perspektif lingkungan dan 3 KPI untuk perspektif pembelajaran. Terdapat 5 KPI untuk level korporat, 8 KPI untuk level strategis dan 7 KPI untuk level fungsional. Hasil penilaian menunjukkan bahwa Jumlah KWH yang diproduksi, Faktor kapasitas dan Equivalent Outage Force Factor berada pada zona kuning. Hal ini berarti bahwa dibutuhkan perhatian dan peningkatan untuk periode selanjutnya.

In palm oil supply chain (POSC) the smallholder farmers sell their fresh fruit bunch (FFB) to Palm Oil Mills through traders. Palm Oil Mills convert the FFB into crude palm oil (CPO). CPO is sold to the refinery, who converts CPO into frying oil and sends the product to the distributors. The distributors subsequently sell them to the consumers. Each member of the POSC will try to optimize its added value. The aim of this paper is to develop an added value formulation as a function of risk, investment and technology levels of each of the POSC member. To facilitate fair distribution of rewards a concept of added value utility based on rsk, investment and technology level was introduced. To optimize the added value distribution between the members the concept of stakeholder dialogue was used. The selling prices were negotiated between the actors until each reached a satisfactory value, which was ruled by the levels of optimum added value utility. This research is important because the developed model can facilitate a better formula to calculate the fair distribution of added values, therefore ensure its sustainability and improve the total supply chain added value.

Abstrak
Pada suatu rantai pasok agroindustri minyak sawit (RPMS), petani menjual tandan buah segar (TBS) ke pabrik CPO melalui pedagang/pemasok. Pabrik CPO merubah TBS menjadi CPO. CPO dijual ke refinery (pabrik minyak goreng), yang merubah CPO menjadi minyak goreng, dan menjualnya melalui distributor kepada para konsumen. Setiap anggota RPMS akan berusaha untuk mengoptimumkan nilai tambahnya masing-masing. Tujuan penulisan makalah ini adalah menyusun formula perhitungan nilai tambah RPMS yang dipengaruhi oleh tingkat risiko, tingkat investasi dan tingkat teknologi yang terkait dengan masingmasing pelaku rantai pasok. Untuk mengusahakan distribusi yang adil dari imbalan maka digunakan pendekatan stakeholder dialogue. Harga jual dinegosiasikan diantara para pelaku RPMS sampai didapat suatu nilai yang memuaskan semua pihak, yang ditentukan berdasarkan utilitas nilai tambah yang optimum. Penelitian ini penting karena model yang dikembangkan dapat memfasilitasi formula yang lebih baik untuk menghitung distribusi nillia tambah yang adil, sehingga akan dicapai keberlangsungan usaha dan meningkatnya nilai tambah total dari RPMS.

The tight competition in the business world nowadays, especially after the signing of AFTA and ACFTA agreements calls for an increased competitiveness of domestic industries especially the garment industries. High quality products, competitive prices and the availability of products in the ever changing fashion market are the key factors to win the competition.
Distribution is one of the important activities as it is directly related to fulfilling customer needs. Right products must be available in the right quantity and right condition and at the right time. Product availability in the market should be strong to prevent lost sales. However, a high service level means high inventory costs. Companies need tool to manage their inventory.
This research proposes the planning and scheduling of distribution at XYZ using the Distribution Resource Planning (DRP) for product X102 for five selected distributors (Surabaya, Bogor, Pekalongan, Sidoarjo and Probolinggo) using the Exponential Comparison Method (ECM). The DRP results show that XYZ must issue production orders in the 3rd, 5th, 7th periods for X102 in the amount of 150 units. In addition to the DRP, to help the company controls the inventory level, the researchers developed a model of Excess Stock Management system using Dev C++.

The selection of suppliers is a strategic activity, especially if the supplier will supply critical items and/ or will be used in the long term. Many factors need to be considered in the selection of suppliers. PT. Kokonako Indonesia is one of the companies of the Group are located in Medan Capella. There are weaknesses in the selection of suppliers conducted by PT. Indonesia Kokonako the decision maker for the purchase of raw materials which are not within specification diameter ≥ 10 cm. Therefore, this study aims to perform the selection of suppliers with the consideration of a more comprehensive and objective as needed. The first stage is carried out in order to represent the actual circumstances is to identify the criteria, sub-criteria, and alternatives that will be used in the selection of suppliers. There are 6 criteria, 13 subcriteria, and 4 alternatives used in the selection of suppliers for raw materials dried grated coconut. The second stage, the stage determines the method for the selection of suppliers. Based on the identification there are no dependencies between sub criteria. Therefore, the exact method used to determine the priority of suppliers to be selected is the method of analytical hierarchy process (AHP). By using the AHP, the priorities selected suppliers for raw materials are dried grated coconut and weighs 0.363 Tempuling District as a top priority. Followed by Sub Tembilahan with weights 0.268, third priority is the District Enoch with weights 0.213, and the last is the Sub Trunk Tuaka and weighs 0,157.

Efisiensi menjadi salah satu faktor pencapaian produktivitas suatu perusahaan, baik dari segi bahan baku, kualitas, peralatan, serta kepedulian terhadap lingkungan. Sebagai perusahaan satu-satunya yang menjalankan proses pembotolan dan distribusi produk minuman ringan ternama di bagian Sumatera Tengah, PT Coca Cola Bottling Indonesia Central Sumatera selalu berupaya meningkatkan produktivitas produksi, sehingga kinerja perusahaan dapat terus dipertahankan. Melalui penelitian ini, dilakukan audit dan evaluasi terhadap kinerja efisiensi proses produksi minuman ringan di PT Coca Cola Bottling Indonesia Central Sumatera dengan tahapan melakukan pengukuran terhadap efisiensi proses produksi dengan menggunakan 12 indikator Barbiroli secara teknis dan ekonomis. Selain itu, juga dilakukan penentuan status efisiensi proses produksi berdasarkan penilaian pakar secara kualitatif. Sebagai upaya peningkatan efisiensi, direkomendasikan beberapa alternatif perbaikan melalui penentuan prioritas dengan menggunakan Analytical Hierarchy Process.
Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa efisiensi teknis proses produksi minuman ringan Frestea Jasmine adalah sebesar 91.58 % yang digolongkan pada tingkatan tinggi sedangkan efisiensi ekonomis adalah sebesar 24.33 % yang digolongkan pada tingkatan sedang. Namun, berdasarkan penilaian tiga orang pakar secara kualitatif, status tingkat efisiensi proses produksi secara teknis berada pada tingkat sedang (medium) dan secara ekonomis berada pada tingkat rendah. Pemilihan alternatif perbaikan dengan Analytical Hierarchy Process menunjukkan bahwa prioritas perbaikan untuk peningkatan efisiensi adalah memperbaiki sistem perawatan mesin produksi dengan bobot 0.476, memperbaiki metode inspeksi proses pembotolan produk dengan bobot 0.293, dan memaksimalkan penggunaan bahan baku produksi dengan bobot 0.231. Dengan demikian, perbaikan terhadap sistem perawatan mesin produksi diharapkan mampu meningkatkan efisiensi proses produksi PT Coca Cola Bottling Indonesia, khususnya untuk minuman jenis Frestea Jasmine, karena penanganan sistem perawatan mesin yang baik berkaitan dengan optimalisasi penggunaan bahan baku, kapasitas produksi, kualitas produk yang dihasilkan, serta biaya produksi.

The banking sector had become industrial which keeps growing. Competition requires each bank competing to attract many customers in many ways both in terms of products, technologies, and services. Marketing Research Indonesia (MRI) performs measurements of the services quality of the banking. X Bank occupies the fifth position in terms of service quality. X Bank need to do repair service constantly to improve customer loyalty. The method used was servqual consisting of five dimensions. Based on gap between perception and expectations known priority on X Bank. Repair service with the main priority is customer service quickly. A long customer service cause long queue at customer service and teller. Typically, most clients come at the beginning of the month. However, a large number of customer that are not anticipated by the number of teller and customer service. Customer satisfaction level of this attribute only 68,09%. That means the banks need to make improvements such as by adding the number of teller and customer service at a particular time and organizing shift work teller and customer service more effectively.

Fulfillment of all demands of consumers who come to the product is one thing that always wanted to be achieved by a company. These requests are not independent of the company's ability to manufacture certain products. CV Cherry Sarana Agro manufactures a wide range of agricultural equipment, one of which is the product hydrotiller and hammermil. Demand for both products are always in large numbers for each period, however, the company could not meet the entire demand. One of the main factors that led this small company's production capacity for these two products is not optimal scheduling of machines made by companies, causing many to be a queue on a particular machine so that the total process operating time becomes very large. Scheduling method is used to optimize the scheduling of machines working on the report of this practice is actively scheduling method and the method of non-delay scheduling. The data needed to perform scheduling with both of these methods is the data used machines, data processing operations and data processing time of operation. With these three data, can be compared to the actual scheduling done by the company with the scheduling is done using active scheduling method and the method of non-delay scheduling. The most optimal scheduling is obtained after comparing the three methods used are scheduling using the non-delay scheduling. This method was chosen because the resulting make span is much smaller than the two other methods. This method is well applied in the company because in addition to reducing the total processing time, can also increase production capacity, so that all requests can be met.

Kruk merupakan tongkat/alat bantu berjalan untuk orang yang memiliki keterbatasan fisik karena cacat atau cedera, biasanya digunakan secara berpasangan untuk mengatur keseimbangan tubuh saat berjalan. Kruk biasanya terdiri dari dua jenis yaitu kruk ketiak (Axillary Crutch) dan kruk lengan bawah (Forearm Crutch). Kruk ketiak pada umumnya terbuat dari aluminium karena berat jenisnya yang relatif ringan, namun memiliki kekuatan mekanik yang relatif rendah, sehingga pada beberapa kasus kruk aluminium mengalami bengkok saat digunakan. Kruk ketiak yang diusulkan oleh [1] dan [2] kurang praktis untuk dibawa, penutup kruk yang licin dan mudah rusak, serta ketinggiannya yang tidak mudah diatur sesuai keinginan. Pada makalah ini dilakukan studi untuk mengusulkan alternatif material pengganti yang lebih kuat dan sekaligus mengatasi masalah kekurangan kruk yang diusulkan oleh peneliti sebelumnya. Material yang dipertimbangkan dalam kajian adalah aluminium, baja karbon, dan stainless steel. Material terpilih untuk diusulkan sebagai material pengganti adalah stainless steel, penggunaan material ini dapat mereduksi bobot kruk sebanyak 28,6% dari 1,75 kg menjadi 1,25 kg. Agar kruk praktis dibawa, diusulkan sistem geser dengan tiga komponen penyusun utama yaitu tiang penyesuai jangkauan, tiang utama dan tiang penyesuai ketinggian, dengan sistem ini kruk memiliki panjang yang bisa disesuaikan yaitu panjang minimal 100 cm dan panjang maksimal 150 cm. Tiang utama kruk dibagi menjadi dua bagian, panjang masing-masing tiang utama adalah 50 cm dan 45 cm sehingga lebih mudah dilipat untuk disimpan dan dibawa. Penutup ujung kruk menggunakan karet agar tidak licin, karet tersebut dimasukkan ke dalam pipa tiang utama sehigga lebih tahan terhadap tekanan. Pegangan kruk dirancang dengan kemiringan yang bisa disesuaikan, rasio penyesuaian kemiringan yaitu 14,4o agar posisi tangan dan pergelangan tangan lebih baik dan nyaman saat penggunaan, tetapi derajat kemiringan kruk rancangan ini masih lebih besar 2,4o jika dibandingkan dengan kemiringan yang ergonomis yaitu sebesar 12o.

Indonesia electrical energy consumption growth that reached 9.2% per year requires every plant to always pursue consistent and sustainable improvement to be able to cope with the growth. Maninjau Hydropower is one of the assets of strategic energy resources to meet the electrical energy supply, especially for the southern Sumatera region. Risk management in Maninjau hydropower take place without any standard of measurement standards, so management and risk management actors do not have an overview and guide to improve the performance of the risk management activities. In this study, a standard measure used is to measure the level of maturity of the risk management implementation using the framework of the Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS) for Enterprise Risk Management (ERM). Measurements carried out for the realization of the value and the expected value of risk management implementation in Maninjau hydropower, as well as designing the evaluation chart implementation of risk management by integrating Key Risk Indicators (KRI) from the expected value. Based on the results of the measurements made, it was found that the actual implementation of risk management in Maninjau hydropower located on the third level (repeatable), while the implementation of the expectation value is found to be at the highest level (leadership), and the percentage achieving overall expectation value has reached 62%. The draft also raises the risk evaluation chart 15 Key Risk Indicators to be achieved by Maninjau hydropower to achieve the expected value at the leadership level.

Currently, the number of retail companies grow rapidly. This condition make high level competition between retailing in Indonesia and each of company need to have effective strategy to survive in retail business. Beside, a number of big company also take opportunity to expand retail business, not only into big size category (e.q. Hypermarket) but also into small size such as mini market. It can be big challenges for Small Medium Enterprise to handle this situation. The Objective of this paper is to explain the priority of importance factors of customer satisfaction in a supermarket, as a strategy for company to survive in retail business. Data is collected by spreading questioner to 385 respondents, and processed by using Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) to compare between customer's expectations and company's perfomances. Evaluasi Kenyamanan Termal Ruang Sekolah SMA Negeri di Kota Padang

This research aims to determine thermal conditions and sensation of thermal comfort in classrooms of high schools in Padang. This study was conducted in 11 State Senior High School (SMA) represented 11 districts in Padang. About 10% of total student body in each schools were participated in this study to vote thermal comfort questioners. To determine thermal comfort level in this study, PMV (Predicted mean Vote) and PPD (Predicted Percentage of dissatisfied) method were used according to standard of thermal comfort in ASHRAE 55-2005 and ISO 7730. PMV method is used to determine scope of situation in the environment that scaled from +3 for very hot until -3 for very cold, and PPD is a method to calculate the number of human (in percentage) dissatisfied with the environment. Calculated PMV and PPD were compared with PMV and PPD resulted from individual vote from questionnaires. Result showed that in general, thermal conditions in classrooms had air temperature and radiant temperature from 27oC – 30oC, air humidity from 68% - 80%, and wind speed of 0 m/s. Calculated PMV from this condition were ranging from +1 slightly warm) until +2 (warm) while PPD calculated greater than 20%. Compared with calculated PMV and PPD values, the individual vote showed values from +0,5 (neutral) until +1 (slightly warm) while PPD values of individual vote greater than 20% except for SMA 2 and SMA 11 Padang. It is concluded that improvements of indoor thermal conditions have to make inside classrooms as well as landscape outside in order to improve thermal comfort level of students during learning and teaching.

PT Abaisiat Raya is one of the manufacturers of rubber crumb (crumb rubber) in the city of Padang. Latex inventory management system at PT Abaisiat Kingdom basically signinfikan still need improvement. It is based on the planning activities in the warehouse inventory of raw materials firms irregular, thus causing excess stock (over stock) at a time and shortage of stock (stock out) at other times. Process optimization is done with latex inventory system involving factors such as demand forecasting production planning or latex needs during the period of next 12 (in 2012), the costs involved, the waiting time (lead time), the implementation of forecasting methods, determination of size lots (lot sizing), the determination of safety stock (safety stock), and re-ordering time (reorder point), so the output will get a number of requests are for 12 periods ahead, the size of each reservation period, the total cost is required, when re-ordering will be done , as well as how much inventory to latex in the warehouse. Based on these results, it was found that the optimal size of the book is the same as the demand for each period (reservation is made each period) due to a cyclical pattern of demand and decreases throughout the planning period. Value of the stock or safety stock is located in Kg 114,282.20, and re-ordering time (reorder point) to cope with fluctuations do when the stock has reached a level of 333,130.95 kg.

The problem of raw materials is the most fundamental issue for a manufacturing company, because the raw material is something that is very important for a production process. Companies must be able to maintain optimal raw material inventory that the production process can run smoothly so as to achieve the production target set by the company and can meet the demand of consumers. PT. Gunung Pulo Sari is one of the manufacturing company engaged in tire retreading. Here there are two types of main raw material of the tire retreading process is the rubber cold rare steak to cook and cook to cook hot rubber. PT. Gunung Sari Pulo do not meet the criteria of good inventory management. So far the company in order raw materials only based on estimates only. We conducted this study in order PT. Gunung Sari Pulo can manage them inventory system by finding the optimum safety stock, determine the total cost of the minimum size of the buyer to use the dynamic method, and the reorder point. Based on the research that has been done then the obtained value of safety stock is 18 units, the total minimum cost is Rp. Rp. 133 991 672, and reordering time (Reorder point) is 93 units.

Persaingan bisnis global yang semakin ketat telah menyebabkan terjadinya pergeseran paradigma bisnis dari product-oriented menjadi penyediaan solusi yang memuaskan kebutuhan konsumen. Hal ini telah mendorong kemunculan konsep Product-Service Systems (PSS). Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk membahas hubungan antara konsep desain dan PSS berdasarkan literatur yang tersedia. Berdasarkan kajian yang dilakukan terhadap berbagai literatur tersebut dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa PSS merupakan konsep yang diyakini sebagai jalan menuju sustainability melalui integrasi antara produk dan jasa dalam penyediaan solusi yang memenuhi kebutuhan spesifik konsumen. Proses desain PSS perlu memperhatikan kebutuhan konsumen dan stakeholder yang terkait melalui penggunaan metode dan pendekatan yang mampu mengintegrasikan pengembangan produk dan jasa dalam perspektif waktu yang sama.Evaluasi untuk mendukung keberhasilan implementasi PSS dapat dilakukan berdasarkan aspek sustainability, life cycle cost maupun berdasarkan perspektif konsumen dan penyedia.

Sistem transportasi yang baik dan memadai merupakan hal penting yang harus diperhatikan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pelayanan terhadap keperluan masyarakat dalam menjalankan aktivitasnya setiap hari. Aktivitas transportasi tidak hanya berlangsung pada siang hari, namun juga dilakukan pada malam hari sehingga keberadaan lampu penerangan jalan sangat penting untuk menerangi jalan dan melancarkan kegiatan transportasi tersebut. Saat ini kondisi lampu jalan di Kota Padang banyak yang mengalami kerusakan. Penyebab utama kerusakan lampu jalan adalah tegangan, yaitu beban puncak yang terjadi mulai dari pukul 18.00-23.00 WIB. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, penelitian ini menggunakan Key Performance Indicator (KPI) untuk menghasilkan standar penilaian kinerja dalam melakukan penilaian terhadap pemeliharaan lampu jalan yang ada di kota Padang. Perancangan dimulai dengan mengidentifikasi KPI yang didapatkan dari studi literatur. KPI yang telah didapatkan divalidasi kepada stakeholder untuk mendapatkan KPI yang cocok untuk diterapkan di kota Padang. Setelah itu dilakukan pembobotan KPI melalui perbamdingan berpasangan dengan menggunakan metode AHP.

Padang is one of the most vulnerable area of earthquake and tsunami in Indonesia. Therefore, it is necessary to have a good strategic planning about disaster logistics system and contingency planning. Contigency planning have three factors, human resources, transportation, and inventory. The problems that happened at distribution of disaster logistical buffer between distribution centre (BPBD Padang) and evacuation post are needed a buffer post (assistant post). This research suggest a location allocation model to select buffer post location and logistics allocation that distributed to evacuation post with minimum cost.

This paper discusses supply and distribution Bahan Bakar Minyak (BBM) system at PERTAMINA Padang to look a performancy system that disturbance of distribution like replacement Automatic Circuit Breaker (ACB). The replacement of ACB processes about 12 hours and causes the distributing activity of BBM to Stasiun Pengisian Bahan Bakar Umum (SPBU) has to be stopped. It makes impact toward the work ability of supplying and distributing system. Therefore, a planning model which is able to see the impact of ACB replacement toward system behavior of supplying and distributing is needed. Purpose of the modelling is to study the behavioral effects of variable in supply and distribution system using causal loop diagram and stock flow diagram. Result of this diagram has built simulation model to analyze performance system. Verification testing done by the method of checking the level and flow and testing of the coding. Validation of the model while the testing is done by operational graphics and the variability parameter sensitivity analysis. The model was designed and carried out the design of simulated scenarios to determine a strategy for decision-makers to look at the performance of BBM supply and distribution system. This study discusses about information systems of CPO supply chain management in PTPN 6 Ophir. PTPN 6 management still use the conventional system (archival documents) in running their business. This information is not yet integrated with the map of plantation, so it will allow errors and inaccuracies in the planning, management and maintenance of oil palm plantations. Otherwise, the output from the production and processing of FFB to CPO and Palm Kernel also has not been well managed. So this would have difficulties in data storage on the the plantation and harvest information and to make decision for the FFB receiving division and distribution of CPO and Palm Kernel. Therefore needed a system that can control the activities in the oil palm plantation and processing by utilizing information technology system that integrates mapping and data information in a software that will facilitate decision making for planning and maintenance.
The stages of the study consist of preliminary study, the selection method of problem solving, designing model system, database and software design and verification and validation of the model system. The study used primary data and secondary data. The primary data includes interviews about the company's business processes and the mechanisms of oil production. Secondary data includes administrative forms such as SPB, form the collection of FFB, weight measurement form and daily report sheet of factory. Model systems in the information system design used Object Oriented Analysis and Design method. This method will considers and designing systems with focusing the objects associated with the system. Verification results of the design has been done by using the method of Computerized Model Verification. This method to see whether the information system has been designed to run properly with the conceptual model of the system. Validation has been done by using Operational Validity. Validity Operational techniques used Black Box Test Method or directly test by the person that understand the issues in study.
The results was Information System Software Design of CPO Supply Chain Management at PTPN 6 already integrates all data and information on the plantation, processing and marketing of CPO and palm kernel oil in a web-based application with support for spatial data processing in online mapping format. The system model can be seen through the business process diagram, use case diagram, class diagram and entity relationship diagram.

Small and medium enterprises in Indonesia gave big contributions to create job opportunities for community and increased Gross Domestic Product. Unfortunately, the current SMEs did not get any respect from the government. This is evidenced by many problems that happened with SMEs in Indonesia. Agency Statistic Center conducted survey in 2009 and 2010 and identified causes of the problems are availability of raw materials, financial problem, marketing, fuel or energy, transportation, skills, payment and many others. Formulation of the problems is how to design indicators of innovation that can be used to make policy strategies to solve the problems. The objective of research is to recommend some innovation indicators for spare part in Padang and use the indicators to make innovation policies. Method to determine the ability innovation of spare parts industries is Quality Function Deployment (QFD). The first stage is identify consumer needs. Consumer needs obtained from literatures and interviewed of stakeholders. Then, calculated based on customer importance ratings to obtain critical and non critical indicators. Indicators will be presented into the House of Quality (HOQ). The results of HOQ are determined some strategies by using SWOT analysis. This research result obtained 25 innovation indicators of technology that is divided into three aspects such as technology aspects, design and product quality aspects. Strategy formulation from SWOT analysis result some strategies with 4 categories and among of them are SO strategy (4 strategies), WO strategy (5 strategies), ST strategy (4 strategies), and WT strategy (3 strategies). Besides that, strategy architecture will present strategy implementation for 10 years and completed with some people that have participation to make this strategy implementation successful.

As economic development and current technology, there tends to SMEs have been reversed there is some effort to close down due to lack of existing orders in the business. Therefore, the government made efforts to assist existing SMEs to be able to survive in the face of global crisis is happening right now. These efforts may include providing small loans and may include training services in accordance with its business. One of the materials provided in the training is about entrepreneurship so that SMEs are expected to compete with similar companies. The low ability entrepreneur pointed out as one of the reasons SMEs are not able to compete with large companies, such as SI (Small Industry) Spare Parts in the city of Padang. The failure to penetrate IK Parts of competition to supply spare parts in the PT. Semen Padang because of its low ability entrepreneur is owned by SI. With no indicator of entrepreneur ability, there are some problems for governments about policies that will be taken for judge the SI. Therefore, the entrepreneur ability should be decided to helps government in decisions making of policies, so that SI can be competing with larger companies. The method that been used in this study is the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) and the recommendations for policies that can be used by the government by using SWOT analysis. QFD is used to identify consumer needs and its association with the characteristic techniques provided by the government, so that the final results are the critical competencies that should be developed first. The linkage between the needs of consumers with technical characteristics reflected in the House of Quality (HOQ). While the results of the SWOT analysis are four types of strategies which can be used later by using the strategy outlined in the strategy implementation architecture for 10 years. This research resulted in 25 indicators of entrepreneurial competencies that include Human Resources (HR), financial, and research and development which consist of eight aspects. The resulting formulation of strategies using SWOT analysis generates SO Strategies (5 strategies), WO Strategies (7 strategies), ST Strategies (7 strategies), and WT Strategies (5 strategies). The design of the implementation of the strategy is planned for 10 years which is reflected in the architecture of the strategy and its implementation strategies.

This study uses a machine learning algorithm which is the extreme model one of the new learning method of neural networks. Determining the value of forecasting based on actual value. Output generated more quickly in this process, because the learning done in a fast speed and better accuracy rate than conventional forecasting methods. Epoch using the parameter changes and changes in the range of accuracy of test results demonstrate the value of error is quite good during the system testing.

Green supply chain performance measurement system is required to manage environmental risk, increase competitive and obtain appropriate strategy for company. Performance measurement system in PT RAPP only focus on midstream and downstream operation related with manufacturing processes and supplier. The problem is how to redesign existing performance measurement system for pulp and paper in PT RAPP, so that downstream operation related with distributor can be integrated into green supply chain performance measurement system. Research objective designing conceptual and computer model for green supply chain measurement of pulp and wherein information entire supply chain can be managed well. Conceptual model is designed with involving activities such as stakeholder identification, stakeholder green requirement analysis, green objective identification, and KPI weighting. Supply chain operations reference (SCOR) metric is applied to identify key performance indicator (KPI). KPI weighting is determined by AHP method. Computer application is designed by combining database, mathematical formulation, and user interface. it is designed to implement conceptual model. Research result is consisting of two levels with fifteen objectives and twenty seven KPI’s. Proposed application has capability to support decision maker in calculating partial and total performance measure each period. It is designed specifically with quantitative measure to support operational decision making related with environmental aspect.

Konsep Persediaan Minimum Maksimum Pengendalian Part Alat Berat Tambang PT Semen Padang

Bureau of mining heavy equipment maintenance at PT. Semen Padang have task in maintenance mine heavy equipment with preventive maintenance although breakdown maintenance. Part inventory is needed to make this activity work properly. If stockout happened will have the impact to PT.Semen Padang mining and production activity. To solve this problem, minimum-maximum inventory control policy is used to give an optimum value of inventory mine heavy equipment. This research is focused in filter and lubricant inventory because they have high demand rate. Data consumption filter and lubricant from January until December 2010 is used in this research. The service level that used is 95%. The result is quantity optimum inventory mine heavy equipment at filter and lubricant with application part inventory of mine heavy equipment. Because it can keep stockout although excess inventory.

Investigation of Lower Limb Fatigue on Two Standing Posture

The purpose of this study was to investigate the different effect from the two standing posture on lower limb fatigue and discomfort. Sixteen subjects (eight females and eight males), aged between 23-29 years, participated in the experiment. They performed a sorting task in front of a grading table by picking and placing objects for 90 minutes in two posture (1) standing and (2) standing using a footrest. Muscle activity was recorded with surface EMG through disposable electrodes. The result shows that standing for ninety minutes developed fatigue in lower limb muscles and back muscles that lead to low back pain. Standing using a footrest result proper posture for prolonged standing period and reduce force at the back. It also results less fatigue and reduce the %MVC of EMG. So, it is recommended to attach a footrest in standing workstation to reduce the fatigue and discomfort.

The manufacturing of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) requires a design process that involves the design of aircraft’s components such as fuselage, wing, horizontal stabilizer, vertical stabilizer, ailerons, elevators, tail, and wing. The process takes a long time. Therefore, the distribution of structural works based on their characteristics and classifications by considering their design attributes and manufacturing processes is required. This research aims to find the optimal time and critical path of the assembly process of an UAV based on product work breakdown structure (PWBS) and critical path method (CPM). The result reveals that the optimal assembly time is 139 minutes. Finally, the application of product-oriented structural work distribution and the optimization of the assembly activities involved in the critical path successfully minimize the duration of the assembly process.

Construction logistics are activities that consist of ordering, storage and transportation of materials of construction projects. Storage material is logistics activity that ensure the availability of materials in project site. Generally, material storage activities have been conducted at the project site. Logistics construction is aimed to support the project activities that the completion schedule has been set. Construction logistics issues is determining the schedule of ordering materials so that the project can be implemented on schedule. The purpose of research is to determine the optimum ordering period for the primary items on the main building structure construction and designing inventory control cards as a mechanism for monitoring procurement of materials. This research has been obtained optimal ordering period for the primary items of main building structure with elements of the work using Fixed Period Requirement method. Inventories were already meet the material requirement of each period. Material management has been conducted based grouping approach as many as 31 groups. In addition, this research has proposed the inventory control cards as an instrument for material procurement monitoring. The implications of inventory control cards are coordinate contracting parties with vendors to plan the replenishment of materials to meet the work schedule. Further research can be developed with other aspects such as integrated material order system between contractors and vendors to consider the safety stock. In addition, the information system for planning material is an important consideration for construction projects with large scale so that the companies can plan primary items inventory and other materials in the projects completion more easily, quickly and accurately.

PT. X is an authorized dealer and service provider of a reputable car product that provides sales and maintenance services. Total number of counters and stalls owned by PT. X cannot be considered optimal based on the number of cars that will be serviced. Long queues cause customers postponinge the maintenance service and reschedule them to another day. The purpose of this study is to analyze the queue characteristic of the simulation results in the service counters and to design improvement of the scenarios. The study was conducted to implement a simulation model on a service system in order to determine an optimal number of service stations which is appropriate with the waiting time that has been targeted by the company. The analysis of the scenario carried out refers to the target that needs to be achieved by the company that is 15 minutes waiting time to call by counter and 120 minutes waiting time to service. Based on the possibilities occurred, there are 11 proposed improvement scenarios that can be applied in the company. The results from the analysis stated that scenario No. 8 that add two counters and two maintanance stalls in the service station has average waiting time which closed with targeted time set by the company. Therefore, scenario No. 8 is chosen as a proposed improvement actiion. By implementing this scenario it is expected that average waiting time to call by a counter is only on 16,845 minutes on Thursday and the average waiting time to service is only 124,63 minutes on Wednesday.

Industrial competition in Indonesia is getting strict. One of the important factor to win this competition is the quality level of the product produced. Production process in PT. Sparta Guna Sentosa generally produces defect products. Part that generate most of the defect products is Boss Drive Face K44F which the demand of this part for each period is high enough. Hence, the quality control using the Six Sigma method is needed to decrease the defect products. The Six Sigma is a method to analyzes the problem with DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control). The results showed that the main defect that will be priority of problem solving is the length which is below the specifications about 40 ~ 40.01 mm and then the solution of problem is designed.

Risk is a possibility of the occurrence that may affect the achievement of objectives. Risk can give positive or negative effect. One of the jobs that have a high risk is firefighter job. Furthermore, a firefighter who are disciplined, responsible, and good in team work, they must be given a reward for their motivation. Therefore, the compensation that they get is equal with the potential risk and working achievement. The compensation of the risk and achievement is included in the extra payment of dangerous work (hazard pay) and bonus based on working achievement of an employee (merit pay). Comparing to the old system, the compensation system will increase the firefighters' income from Rp 900.000 to Rp 1.297.280 every month. The addition will also increase the budget of Damkar from Rp 550.800.000 to Rp 793.935.156 every year.

Production process of power pole involves connected production process flow between machines. Thus, the company must ensure the machine availability during production runs. PT Kunango Jantan as a company that produces pole power also considers machine availability. The level of machine availability can be seen from the high level of machine reliability. However, the company is still not been able to guarantee the availability of the machine so it is necessary to study the reliability of the system to help to take the right policy in handling pipe production machinery maintenance. The first step is to determine the distribution of machine damage. Minitab 16 software was used determine the type of distribution and distribution parameters of each machine damage. In addition, mean time between failure (MTBF) was calculated to the pipe manufacturing machine. The machine reliability was obtained based on a formula and parameters. The determination of the system reliability was derived from the block diagram in accordance with the condition of machines in the field. The analysis was performed using fishbone diagram to propose an attempt to increase the machine reliability. The results of this study indicate that the machine reliability in good level since the reliability value is between 0.901 to 1.000. The machine reliability in a series circuit is smaller than the machine reliability in a parallel circuit. Rs and R values of the system were 0.980 and 0.998. R system shows that the system has a good performance with a chance of machine damage during production <0.002 (0.2%).

Nowadays, developers of residential houses often neglect to pay attention about the air circulation as one of the factors that affects thermal comfort zones inside the room environment. In general, people overcome the thermal discomfort using mechanical ventilation such as a fan or Air Conditioning (AC).This study measured the comfort zone of 32 row houses in the Batam city with two types of floor area (LT ≤ 36 m2 and LT > 36 m2). Other variables include Ceiling Height (Tpi), Aperture Area (Vi), Wall Materials (Bhi) and Orientation (Ori) were also considered in this measurement. The results show that thermal comfort zone was influenced by the wall material (Bh1) made from brick, aperture area (V2) > 20% of the floor area, and ceiling height (Tp2) > 3 m. While the house orientation variable can still be received by utilizing the architecture techniques to reduce direct solar radiation. This study also formulated three models of row house design with ergo-ecological concept, which are Ree = f {Lti, Bh, V, Tp2, Ori} atau Ree = f {Lt2, Bh, V, Tp1, Or2} atau Ree = f {Lt1, Bh, V, Tp1, Or1}.

PT. Enseval Putera Megatrading is a company which operates in general business and distribution of pharmacy products, general needs, cosmetics, foods and hospital equipment. In their current practice, routing in products deliveries, which is limited by time windows, has not considered the utilization of vehicles' maximum loading capacities. Distribution route from a hybrid algorithm using heuristic clustering and Mixed-Integer Linear Programming approach can accommodate such problem with time windows and vehicles' capacities utilization. Based on the comparison between company’s current route and the route from the hybrid algorithm, it can be seen that the hybrid algorithm is able to decrease total distance and total cost of transportation. This new route concerns on vehicles allocation and time windows limit. This new route can minimize the total cost of transportation that company has to pay.

The banking industry is one of the pulse of Indonesian economic system. Bank Nagari is an industry aims to support the community’s economic development in West Sumatra. These objectives can be realized if Bank Nagari is able to face the existing challenges and problems. However, based on the preliminary studies, it was found a weakness in the bank services, such as the irreverent attitude of the tellers to the customers and long queues at certain times. Therefore, there is a need for a solution and quick actions so that Bank Nagari can improve customer satisfaction and provide excellent service to the communities. This study was conducted at Bank Nagari branch Bung Hatta University, Padang. Data is collected using questionnaire. The questionnaires were distributed to 97 respondents consisted of 24 variables and analyzed using the Kano method, quadrant analysis, and Theory of Inventive Problem Solving (TRIZ). The study proposed improvements to Bank Nagari branch Bung Hatta University, Padang. It is proposed to install a bulletin board or poster containing bank service procedures and information about bank services, to provide training to the bank employees, to focus on the frequent bank service problems and the evolution of the bank service system from traditional services to phone banking or internet banking.

The increasing competition in the global market and high consumer expectations for quality products, encourage companies to be able to produce quality products which meets international standards. One of the activities in improving quality that conform to product specifications is applying appropriate quality control system involving all aspects of the company that are integrated with the standard ISO 9001: 2008 as a guide. However, the rubber industry in West Sumatra still faces obstacles in the implementation of quality control techniques and tools of as experienced by ABC and XYZ. This study aimed to evaluate the application of quality control tools and techniques in the manufacturing company which is certified ISO 9001: 2008, ABC and XYZ. This research was conducted by calculating the value of DPMO (Defect Per Million Opportunities). Based on the results found that the two companies have different DPMO value. PT ABC obtained by 5,2σ sigma level from DPMO value of 94.33 for the types of defects whitespot and sigma level of 4,2σ of DPMO value of 3365.096 to defect type of metal, while the XYZ obtain sigma level of 5,3σ from DPMO value of 728.697 for the types of defects whitespot and sigma level of 4,8σ of DPMO value of 425.441 for the type of metal defects. From the analysis it can be concluded that the two companies have not been effective in applying the techniques and tools of quality control in accordance with the standards ISO 9001: 2008 in order to achieve continuous quality improvement. The purpose of this article is to describe the results of research models firebrick requirements planning in PT Semen Padang with MRP method. Firebrick is one of the spare parts and essential in the production of operational PT Semen Padang as protective and insulating of shell kiln. This article describes the firebrick requirements planning at all kiln Indarung II / III, IV and V to meet the needs of 2017 up to 2018. One type of firebrick most widely used in PT Semen Padang is spinal firebrick. Spinal firebrick highly susceptible to hydration and moisture as the main component is MgO compound that is hygroscopic so susceptible to damage in the form of cracks firebrick. Based on the research that has been done, get MRP application design that can be used in planning the needs of firebrick PT Semen Padang to come. Plans need firebrick for compliance in 2017 to 2018 : (a) item 422 purchased through two phases in the 4th month of 12.711 pcs and in the 9th month of 24.909 pcs (b) item 622 purchased through two phases in the 4th month of 21.185 pcs and in the 9th month of 41.515 pcs (c) item P22 purchased through two phases in the 4th month of 446 pcs and in the 9th month of 874 pcs (d) item P + 22 purchased through two phases in the 4th month of 446 pcs and in the 9th month of 874 pcs (e) item 425 purchased in the 8th month of 14.626 pcs (f) item 825 purchased in the 8th month of 20.600 pcs (g) P25 item purchased in the 8th month of 412 pcs (h) P + 25 items purchased in the 8th month of 412 pcs.

Food processing industries have grown in the region of West Sumatra since a few decades ago. The processing of various types of food recipes from various West Sumatra region comes from inheritance hereditary. Snack is a processed food product that has a special attraction among various types of distinctive food from West Sumatra. Increasing competitiveness is necessary to accelerate the growth of small and medium snacks industries in West Sumatera. Industrial cluster development is one of the strategic and effective approaches to achieve that objective. The research aims to design value chain and industrial cluster map model of small and medium snacks industries in West Sumatra. Industrial cluster mapping carried through: defining the value chain, a grouping of factors influence the level of internal and external factors, factors condition processing, grouping factor conditions into the four elements of SWOT, strategy planning using SWOT Matrix, and creating industrial cluster map of snacks industries in West Sumatra. The results showed that there are 7 internal factors and 6 external factors that can influence the competitiveness of small and medium snacks industries in West Sumatra. The value chain of snack industry in West Sumatra includes tuber farmers, traditional market, special suppliers, small and medium snacks industries, and consumers. The study also generates 10 programs centered on small and medium snacks industries in West Sumatra as a core industry.

Indonesia’s geographical conditions, particularly in the eastern region, which is archipelago has its own challenges in the distribution of commodities, such as rice. Most of the rice needed in eastern Indonesia, is still supplied from Java Island. The most suitable transportation mode for rice distribution in the eastern region of Indonesia, is by sea (ships). In this study, a ship routing and scheduling model for commodity distribution in the eastern region of Indonesia was developed, using capacitated vehicle routing problem (CVRP) method. The model was built by considering the number of demands on the destination, ship capacity, and ports service time. Modeling was developed to determine distribution route and schedule that can provide total minimum cost and meet all of the restrictions.

This study examines the quality level of service in one of the telecommunication operator (mobile network provider) in Makassar. This paper focuses on the identification of the gaps, mapping quality level of service, and the evaluation of the service quality level. The study was conducted using SERVQUAL approach which refers to the five dimensions of service quality. SERVQUAL is helpful in identifying, mapping, and analyzing the gap level between expectations and perceptions of a telecommunication service. Questionnaires were randomly distributed to the 400 respondents’ mobile telecommunication users in Makassar. The results show that there were 10 negative attributes on the SERVQUAL value of 15 questions. This indicates that the service quality to the users is at the low level. For mapping and prioritization of services related attributes that need to be improved, this study used the Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) diagram. The first quadrant indicates a high level of customer expectations relative to those attributes but on the perception remains low. The first quadrant is a mapping attribute which is prioritized in the improvement of service quality related to the reliability dimensions i.e the improvement of network quality, network expansion, and the affordable cost of access (Internet, telephone, and SMS).

Maintenance system at UMKM ED Aluminum Yogyakarta is using preventive and corrective maintenance program, but the implementation of this program still have many problems. The problem occurs because there is no maintenance system program and the company doesn’t have Standard Operational Procedure (SOP) in maintenance to overcome machine failures resulted in the increase of the downtime value. To cope the problems, in this paper we used application of SOP and appropriate task maintenance selection using Maintenance Value Stream Map (MVSM) method supported by Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM). Beside task selected among all products that have been produced, there is one machine that gives the biggest profit to the company. The product is feet infusion. Kondia milling machine is one of machines produces the feet infusion that has the longest downtime which was 17,75 hour during January 2016 until October 2016. RCM consist of Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA), Pareto diagram, decision worksheet RCM, whereas the MVSM describes the maintenance activity. Based on Pareto analysis, the critical components on the Kondia milling machine were the magnetic contactor, relay, fuse, cutter, dynamo and bearing. The result of RCM decision worksheet proposed the appropriate action for the critical components cares. The Standard Operational Procedure (SOP) for the maintenance system on the operation of Kondia milling machine are suggested to the company for getting more significant outcome.

Maintenance is a very important activity to keep an equipment always at its best condition. This research aims to create an early warning system/ lifetime spare parts detector of Nissin Kogyo Batam (NKB)Company’sTR Osawa machine by adopting PLC (Programmable Logic Controller). PLC is used to automatically calculate the lifetime spare parts of TR Osawa machine. PLC will shut down the machine if it detects that lifetime spare parts have reached the specified setting standard (380-400 k pcs). As a result, PLC machine can provide more accurate results than manual counting.

Optimum conditions help us think and work better. Thermal comfort in lecture buildings is important to maintain students’s comfort and help them concentrate on study. The fastest way to achieve expected thermal comfort inside the lecture room is using air conditioner, however, compensation on high electricity bills and degradation of the environmental quality has to be made. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to find and promote several environmental friendly strategies which can provide comfort to users in one hand, but also can reduce energy consumption in another hand. There have been several strategies in records to increase thermal comfort in buildings. To select the best and the most appropriate alternative, Analytical Hierarchy Process method was used by setting the criteria, sub-criteria, and alternatives to increase thermal comfort in lecture buildings of Andalas University. To test the selected alternative, thermal comfort inside two lecture rooms were evaluated experimentally. The comfort level was evaluated using PMV (Predicted Mean Vote) and PPD (Predicted Percentage Dissatisfied) model. For all experimental conditions, PMV and PPD results and individual thermal vote results showed a good match statistically meaning that the PMV and PPD models could predict thermal condition inside the lecture rooms. Results also showed that the presence of natural vegetation infront of glass windows of the lecture rooms statistically improved thermal comfort sensations of students under natural ventilation mode and reduced thermostat setting under air conditioning mode.

Inventory is one of many factors of the business operation that need to be controlled by industries in order to improve efficiency, enhance productivity, and decrease the holding cost. The holding cost of inventories in supply chain contribute to 20% - 40% of the product value. It can be controlled by applying appropriate inventory model, such as EPQ/Economic Production Quantity and EOQ/Economic Order Quantity. EPQ is an inventory model that used to determine the optimum production lot size with balanced the production setup cost and holding cost. Even the classic EPQ has applied widely in industries, the assumption used by this model differed between the researchers whether it is continuous or discrete demand, because the multi delivery or discrete demand is mostly used by industries. Even so, there are industries that used both continuous and discrete demand simultaneously. Based on previous research, there was an advanced EPQ model that synchronizing both assumptions simultaneously, but it still addressed single item problem. Since almost the industries produced multi item, this model has lack of applicability. Therefore, this research proposed a multi item EPQ Model that synchronizing continuous and discrete demand simultaneously. The solution procedure that used in this proposed model are classical calculus method/differential calculus and simultaneous approach. A numerical example is given to show the effectiveness of the proposed approach based on the data from the literature.

PT Unitex Tbk Bogor is a company that processes raw materials into semi-finished and finished materials such as cotton processing up into yarn or fabric. The production process costs physiological and psychological workload which could harm an operator at each work station. The packing work station has the highest workload due to its heavy workload and worker fatigue. This study measures the psychological work load by employing NASA - TLX method. On the other side, for evaluating physiological workload, the pulse rate and body temperature of the operators are measured.

The awarding of investment grade to Indonesian Stock Exchange marked an excellent development in the national capital market. This could be the key to attracting foreign investors that will further integrate the Indonesia capital market with international markets. Increasingly integrated capital market will also be more vulnerable to international issues such as the volatility of global stock indices as well as the volatility of world commodity prices (crude oil, CPO, gold etc.) as indicated by IHSG response to these issues. To minimize risk and maximize the return are the main goal of investment. Both of these two objectives can be achieved through stocks diversification and the portfolio development. Optimal portfolio requires the right stocks diversification. Therefore, investor needs to have information about which stocks are affected and unaffected by world commodity prices prior to diversifying. The goal of this research is to examine the way to form optimal portfolio from the group of companies listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange and affected by world commodity prices. Augmented Dickey Fuller (ADF) method used for stationary test of time series data and residual regression models. Regression Analysis conducted for co-integration test between commodity prices and IHSG. Error Correction Model used for correcting short-term errors. Optimal portfolio formed with Single Index Model and Treynor Index used to measure the optimal portfolio performance. Result of the study showed that gold, crude oil, platinum, rubber, corn, cotton, and Arabica coffee are the global commodities that can be used to predict the direction of IHSG movement.

Baristand Industri Padang is an agency under control Ministry of Industry of Indonesia which it has a duty to serve the industries involving research activities, standardization and certification. To realize the programs, Baristand Industri Padang implemented a quality management system including ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025, ISO/IEC 17065, and KNAPPP 02. Nevertheless, it has been running separately. Therefore, quality of products not only proven by testing the final product, but also needed other evidence as a certificate that ensuring the quality of products. This research aims to design the Quality Management System for Baristand Industri Padang which it was implemented using life cycle methodology. Finding of this study revealed there was integration of ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025, ISO/IEC 17065, and KNAPPP 02 in the context of the structure of the process, documents, and organization. In the context of the structure of processes, it obtained four groups of primary process involving management, research and standardization, support, and improvement. Moreover, In terms of documentation, there was three levels of the document such as the document of strategic policy, quality guideline and procedures. While aspects of the organizational structure, the integration of quality management system required to develop the organizational structure that consist of Top Management, Technical Manager, Quality/Management Representative, Researcher and Administrative/Technical Staff. In addition, this study provided an integrated quality management information system including management of quality documents and quality records. Finally, the integrated quality management system and quality management information system has been designed to meet the expectations of the organization.

CV ABB is a medium scale car rental company which manages around 150 vehicles consists of small car (sedan or MPV) until large bus. To supporting the maintenance of all vehicles, they build a warehouse for spareparts and tools. Unfortunately, the management of warehouse does not have a good governance because all records done manually. This situation creates very high risk for data manipulation because manual record method is done by warehouse officer, lost of spare part in warehouse, counterfeit receipt, and no system to control spare part in warehouse. An improvement need to be done by implementing a warehouse management information system to overcome this problem. By applying information system analysis and design concepts and implementing through the application of PHP7 and MySQL, the new system can control all spare part in warehouse including incoming and outgoing spare part, PIC who requests the spare part, checking stock of spare part in the warehouse and stock out used by finance to make purchase order, spare part report from supplier and spare part request report. This system is also able to help finance to create purchase order and get approval from the user in order to make the process is more transparent and accountable.

PT. Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk is a company that works in the field of food processing industry which produces instant noodles, Indomie. At this company, human resource management gives a significant effect on the production sustainability and development. The observation that conducted in PT. Indofood CBP indicates that loading and delivering process are still using the manual procedure which uses human power with loading capacity around 25 kg. The observation focus on two working movement elements used by the screw machine workers consists of bending over when lifting and pouring the wheat flour sack resulted in worker’s frequent complaints related to the waist and backbone problems. The objective of this research is to discover the risk arising from lifting and delivering techniques used by the screw machine workers in PT. Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk., then analyze the worker’s workload based on the observation result. Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) method was used to analyze the data and it is concluded that lifting and pouring procedures used by the screw machinery workers in PT. Indonesia Port Corporation I (PT Pelabuhan Indonesia I (Persero)) or PT. Pelindo I is one of the Indonesian state-owned enterprises which manages port services in western Indonesia. Shipyard unit (Unit Galangan Kapal (UGK)) is a branch of PT. Pelindo I. At present, a problem arises if more than 2 ships are being repaired at once in the unit, UGK scheduling overlaps the repairing activities. In order to solve the problem, study of human factor is important. Human factor is the study of the limitations, capabilities, and human behavior, as well as its interaction with the product, environment, equipment and the establishment of tasks and activities. One part of the human factor is the human factor in system design. In order to improve the effectiveness of the system, the human factor must be involved in each phase of the design process in the system design. This includes a number of activities to obtain input specification work, therefore the working methods and the optimal amount of labor can be determined. Human factors engineering is the application of science that utilizes research on the human factor and use the basic knowledge to design, to repair and to install the system. This research method is causal, searching for the causes which led to delays in the completion of ship repairing. Through human factor engineering approach to the allocation of labor increased by 12.23 per cent of the actual conditions, so that the delay of ship repair were not found during normal conditions.

The growth of the Wastes from Electric and Electronic Equipments (WEEEs) or e-waste is presently considered to be one of the rapid increasing wastes streams in the large city of Indonesia. Concurrently, the urban mining activities for e-waste by informal sectors have potential on the economic, social and environment dimension. The three dimensions form a triple bottom line that supports the principles of sustainability in the manufacturing. In this research, the observation in some remote areas in Padang is conducted to find out the model of e-waste collection system activities from the household and its economic potential, especially for refrigerators e-waste. The result shows that minimaly there are three models of the e-waste collecting system for refrigerator e-wastes. The model involves all the parties in urban mining activities such as e-waste collectorsfrom household, repair shops, collectors who continue the re-assembly and classify the e-waste and final collectors who did the cleaning, crushing, packing and transporting e-waste to another city to do the recycling process. In this e-waste collecting model the components of refrigerator e-waste could be reused, remanufactured and recycled. From the reassembly of therefrigerators it is obtained the material composition of 58.1% iron, 26.3% plastic,10.9% styrofoam 10.9%, 2.1% aluminum, 1.8% copper pipe, and 0.8% others. The highest cumulative retained value is obtained from this collecting system ranged between IDR 230.200 to 355.200, where some second-hand components may still be inreuse and remanufacture. This price is equivalent to 14.9% to 22.1% the purchase price of a new refrigerator.

This research aims to design optimal portfolio with a case study of stocks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) that conduct transactions in the period 2011-2015. The sample used were 396 companies listed on nine sectors in BEI. Arbitrage Pricing Theory (APT) method is used to determine the realized return, expected return, and efficient portfolio involving four macroeconomic factors (Stock Price Index (IHSG), interest rate of Indonesian Bank Certificates (SBI), Inflation and Exchange Rate of Rupiah against the US Dollar). Efficient portfolio is formed by 231 undervalued companies. While the optimal portfolio with the Excess Return to Beta (ERB) approach was formed by 42 companies with a ERB value greater than (or equal to) cut-off point (0,1912). Under the uncertainty of the investment climate due to the global financial crisis, the decision to make investments needs to be done carefully and consider various factors, including macroeconomic factors. This research has succeeded in designing an optimal portfolio that can be a guide for investors to determine investment decisions.

Pengembangan Aplikasi @Webplan untuk Perhitungan Waktu Standar pada Proses Perakitan Manual

Karya tulis ini berkenaan dengan pengembangan perangkat lunak berbasiskan Web untuk perhitungan waktu kerja standar yang merupakan sebuah modul tambahan pada aplikasi perangkat lunak untuk perancangan sistem kerja berbasiskan Web atau yang diberi nama @WebPlan® yang sudah dikembangkan oleh penulis. @WebPlan ini merupakan integrasi dari beberapa modul untuk perancangan tataletak dan disain stasiun kerja secara virtual 3D. Beberapa modul sudah dirancang sebelumnya yaitu modul untuk visualisasi produk dan strukturnya sehingga dimungkinkan visualisasi yang interaktif untuk proses perakitannya. Sedangkan modul utama dalam @WebPlan ini adalah 3D Facilities Layout dan disain/layout stasiun kerja. Untuk tujuan ini juga sudah dibuat beberapa alat bantu yaitu model manusia 3D untuk beberapa persentil dan beberapa analisa dan checklist ergonomi. Pengembangan aplikasi @WebPlan ini untuk perhitungan waktu standar pada produksi serial merupakan suatu yang sangat diperlukan untuk menentukan waktu total yang diperlukan dalam memproduksi/merakit sebuah produk. Waktu total ini merupakan data penting dalam membuat konfigurasi stasiun kerja untuk pembuatan produk. Metoda Pengukuran waktu perakitan yang dipakai dalam hal ini adalah MTM-UAS (Universal Analysing System) yang sangat cocok untuk perakitan manual. Hasil perhitungan waktu proses perakitan ini divalidasi dengan proses perakitan yang sebenarnya dan tidak menunjukkan perbedaan harga yang cukup signifikan. Beberapa kemudahan yang didapat pada metoda ini adalah MTM-UAS menggabungkan beberapa gerakan dan tidak terlalu detail dibandingkan metoda pengukuran waktu lainnya. Akan tetapi memiliki hasil yang cukup mendekati hasil yang sebenarnya. Modul aplikasi perhitungan waktu standar ini merupakan bagian yang diintergrasikan nantinya dalam perancangan tataletak dan stasiun kerja secara virtual 3D
