Orcid ID integration

An Orcid ID is a persistent digital identifier that is owned and controlled by researchers, and that distinguishes one researcher from other researchers. With that in mind, we call our users (authors, reviewers, and editors) to update their data in JOSI to the current Orcid ID.

To integrate your Orcid ID; after logging in, edit your profile from account management at the top right-hand side of the page. Choose "Edit Profile". On the next page, choose "Public" and click on the button "Create or Connect your Orcid ID". Finish the process by saving the changes. Please make other adjustments to the profile while at it.

With that finished, future articles published under the author's name will get connected and the link to the author's Orcid ID displayed.
